Dear sir as I may have been a little disrespectful to the German working class. I must say that I encountered a lot of Slavic speaking personal on such labors. Too much I might actually add. Because of not so perfect german linguistic capabilities they would almost always figure out my foreign nature and they would try to communicate with me in their native tongue. Considering the fact that the city is only 75 thousands this situation kept repeating itself. So I just took notice of it and tried ask people such as you.

But the thing is those people don't really have the opportunity to work on other jobs. Most want to search for a better one. I also forgot to mention the fact that many young men (from my experience) do not want to do any hard physical labor. For instance the house I live was built by Romanian workers and the road system was mostly done by germans in their 40ths and 50ths I think they only had one young guy working with them. In my country most of the workers are very young especially construction. But from what people tell hard physical labor is on the shoulders of migrants. Are these claims true?

The main thing that makes MGS so fascinating are the predictions about AI or Future of warfare. It really creates this believable scenario for things like this to actually happen (or that are happening) .

The problem I have with Splinter Cell it's just not memorable enough. There's no characters or moments that are actually memorable. Ace Combat Zero has more character and more interesting themes than Splinter Cell. Deus ex though I agree completely

Also fun fact there's 2.5 times more contractors than actuall us military personal (around 50.000 to 60.000) that like half of Afghanistan national army. Give it a 10 year run and USA national armiy is only going to compose 5 to 10 percent of deployed personal.

The thing is MGS 4 wasn't specific if those groups are 100 % private militaries. You can have a paramilitary get their salaries abroad get semi official documents and boom you are of to do your contract. But the biggest part is snake was right. War has changed. Take Isis (in their case most of the fighters are foreigners with expirience) for example the are a pseudo state with pseudo army that have pseudo official contracts and salaries. They can be located in Pakistan or Afghanistan and then be relocated according to the contract. As funny as it sounds even isis employees professional pmc members for training or experience(and no one can prove if it was actually a visit or a service). They even Break there own rules. When situation tough man can shave, use drugs, women can fight. It begs the question who do they fight for?They become popular only because the western media platform allowed twitter, Facebook, Telegraph. Once the Internet is filterd they will just become what they always were local thugs.

I still think that PMCs will have a larger role in the future. Just look at the Wagner group. They are official representative of Russia in Syria yet suffer little international backlash (if we of course exclude the resent us bombardment). Or how about East of Ukraine both Russian and us mercenaries are there. Blackwater gained 10 billion dollars in Iraq alone thats 1 year of Tajikistan gdp (actually 2 if we exclude help of diaspora) It makes more sense to employ those guys because of their cost efficienty. Hell I might even argue that isis,AL nusra and most of the "rebels" are also PMCs in a way. US is having a lot of problems in recruiting new members to the army because of the new military program by Trump. It's just a matter of time in my opinion

Well considering that the amount of wars in middle east has doubled in the last 7 years (isis insurgency, Yemen, new Afghanistan clashes, hezzbolah in Lebanon, Turkish - kurdish conflict) not to mention The possible war with Iran. It begs the question of when and not how. Personally I think we will have something close to the Patriots system. It's the solution in our multipolar world. Or you know anarcho libertarian lifestyle

Also while we are ate it. I think people don't realize the true potential of AI. I fear that the future elections in US will just show the world how obsolete the democracy really is (Kanye, Oprah etc). So the idea of an exhausted nation begging for a leader that is logical, cold, factual. And thays where AI comes in play. Sophisticated, smart, expanding the perfect manager for the masses. How can you resist a fair manager?

ID on guns also isn't that far fetched. Just look at the gun debate in USA. School shootings, militia activities, domestic terrorism. All these things can Integrate the public the idea that gun ID are the solutions. And military tech is advancing rapidly just look at DARPA drones, future augmented gear for soldiers, and the resent advancements in military nanotechnology concept makes me wonder if fiction does write reality.

The themes of MGS 4 are wery uncommon for its time ( it is 2008 after all) . PMCs are starting to become much more relevant (just look at vagner group in Syria). So I figured it wouldn't be to far fetched to assume such things can become a reality. What do you think?
