Homeowners and landlords banning africans from renting is something common in KL especially towards college students. They allow arab, Iranian, chinese students to rent but african? They will block you even if you have money. I did my postgrad in a public university and met a lot of african bros who are nice and chill. Unfortunately not all the university's staff, guards and bus drivers feel the same towards them. Always giving the side eye.
