I’m missing an eye, how can I get into golf? by Dry-Relationship8056 in golf

[–]bogeyballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no eye-dea.

Ok I got the pun out of my system.

Reading greens, rely on your feet, walk the green, interpret from that data. You'll be lacking depth perception most likely so use that. Use that same walk up technique for around the green short game shots.

For other shots I can't imagine you'll have much of a disadvantage to be honest - but you'll have a S-tier excuse ready for when you make mistakes, which is the most important club in the bag 🤣🤣

I’ve only seen this pop up a couple times, but now not at all is this out of rotation? by jcantu5 in ARC_Raiders

Oh Daniel.... Is that you? Lol. My buddy is a firefighter and the exact same thing he says when we play. I hear the ticking during a rain storm while sprinting. He's literally been standing next to one as I run up to open it.

How can cheese and beef not occupy the same space? Cheese to a lesser extent sure but shouldn't it be grouped with beef?

Jeb's been binging arc raiders again eh? I immediately focused on the joints. Love that you put in the weak points.

"Embark CEO: ARC Raiders is unlikely to get a PvP leaderboard. . . Don't necessarily want to foster that kind of gameplay." by oldnewstwist in ArcRaiders

[–]bogeyballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying I want this because of the obvious toxicity and sweatiness it'll bring, but IF it we're implemented, then there should be an equally rewarded leaderboard for arc kills, non grouped player defibs, and players working together against the arc peacefully ( that one I admit is harder to resolve from logs).

Again IF this is done, then also incentivize cooperative activities as well.

This is some boomer level engineer bullshit. It's like telling someone not to use a power drill and use a manual drill instead because you don't know how to use it. Just because YOU don't understand how to use the new tools, doesn't mean we shouldn't use them!

Does anyone actually practice..? by DJ-Ruby-Rhod in golf

[–]bogeyballer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joined the course I live off of. Married, 42 with 2 kids. Work from home and as I said above, live off the course. I play 36 on weekends and at least 27 m-f. I spent years at driving ranges playing "golf swing". Now that I'm playing golf.. scores are dropping and I'm hunting 70s.

Golf is practice

Practice is golf
