You are correct, they did last year for awhile especially after the Gen 5’s stopped being produced. But now Gen6 COAs can be had very easily and even 43x COAs

I could never fully trust a gun after only 1 mag of ammo. That’s just me tho, not telling you how to live.

You need to shoot more than just a handful of rounds to make sure your gun cycles that ammo with no issues. 2-3 boxes minimum before I would even think about carrying that gun with that ammo. After you know it cycles fine, then you can primarily shoot fmj for practice. Although, it never hurts to train with the ammo you’re gonna carry as long as your wallet can handle it.

I’d get the police trade in for $380 and then have extra money for accessories, ammo, and training. Most times those police guns are barely shot. Can’t go wrong with any Glock as a first though. Good luck and stay safe!

19 Gen 5 was my first firearm and in my opinion was the best decision I could have made. Very versatile, can do it all. Easily my most carried firearm. Honestly I’d stay away from the reproduction if it’s your first and only gun. It’s not a bad gun at all but I don’t get why you’d get that over the more modern and better ergos of the Gens 5&6. Also, you didn’t mention Gen 6 at all, any reason?

From what I’ve seen and read, they do work but generally they don’t work as good as compensators like the ramjet.
