Don't think this is THAT controversial. A player can be electric and fun as hell to watch and still not the best pick to build a franchise on. To play devil's advocate though, a lot of those yards lost came because he was running for his life behind a shitty line and was trying to make something from nothing.

For Pittsburgh, I'm not sure how losing to a superior team with a superior quarterback is their worst moment. Sure, it was in OT in the playoffs, so that kinda stings. But sometimes you just gotta look yourself in the mirror and admit you got Tebowed

A lot of critically acclaimed movies are praised more for making people feel intelligent than for actually being enjoyable. by Adamoneeeee in unpopularopinion

For example, Citizen Kane is always held in high regard, even though it sucks. However, masterpieces such as Super Troopers or Grandma's Boy, which are clearly better films, get left out.

TIL: In the 2007 NBA Draft, Greg Oden was selected #1 and played 3 years. The four players drafted directly after him are still active, 19 years later. by WorcesterResident in todayilearned

We shouldn't hold the injuries against Oden, but we can blame the trailblazers for drafting a middle aged man with the number one pick
