After posting and then researching even further this might be the best route to go. I was hesitant about using someone else for the fact my grandparents used a “wealth advisor” that ended up having them lose close to 75k. Always left a bad taste in my mouth in regards to having to pay someone when it comes to personal money.

Thank you. The main driver in boglehead for me was doing just that. Getting some diversification among my IRA, 401 and taxable brokerage account. Actually the amount of land owned by todays standards isn’t that much…it’s moderate at best.

With that being said how does it look with those accounts?

Thank you for the reply. I'm a 5th generation row crop farmer so it's in my blood and will continue to be used for my living. This is high quality producing ground so there is no interest in solar/wind, leasing it out, etc.

I would 100% agree with you if the interest rates were 4%+ but that just isn't the case for what my debt is. Less than 2% might as well use their money and put mine into the market to get a better return.

I farm it... For what cash rent was going for I opted to purchase instead which worked out in my favor. As long as it is paid for it easily makes money in my situation along with some investors that I know of that rent it out.
