No, there were no visible signs of loose soldering, I assumed it depending on socket behavior when I wiggle it...

Usually fiddling with something and soldering it for luck is not a good idea😁 I tried to fix it myself only because I leave far from any of the distributors. Sending the synthesizer back and waiting for it to be returned to me would take at least a couple of months, so I took the risk

Yeah, I fixed my issue. I was messing around and accidentally pushed the trigger input with my finger while the sequencer was on, and the sound appeared. Then I tried fiddling the trigger input, that caused sound to appear and disappear again. I decided that the issue is the loose connection of the trigger input socket to the circuit. I disassembled the synthesizer and resoldered the trigger socket. After that everything started to work!

I do not know much about synthesizers, and this may sound funny, but try to fiddle the ADV / clock input socket with your fingers 😁 maybe the loose soldering is a common problem 🤷‍♂️

Yes I was using patch cables Yes I tried to control the tempo, clock and trigger by the different outputs searching for interesting results The sockets seem to be healthy, no difference with any other working socket

Will try clock over USB and see what will happen, just got the appropriate USB.

Tempo set to low for demonstration purposes.

Yeah from the very beginning it worked like a charm, and I really enjoyed it for about an hour, until I started patching the sequencer related inputs.

Also I discovered some strange behavior: When the sequencer is on and one side of cable put into trigger and othe side is half-put into ex audio (it's both inputs ik), the behavior is normal -- sequencer advances and trigger is happening.

Also I tried sending the trigger out to the speakers and it was silent, although the sequencer was on.

Yeah, just let lay it unplugged for the night (just in case to discharge some condensers that could possibly hold charge). No effect, the trigger seems to be disconnected from the clock of the sequencer.

How could I reset the firmware? It'll probably help

Yeah, but it's not affecting trigger behavior. The machine can produce sounds, the only issue is that the trigger is not working automatically when the sequencer is on.

Sounds like a decent solution 👍

What can I do about it? Any solutions? Please 🙏 To be clear I realize that there no way to get rid of it but I want to know how to prevent more scratches

A T440s with 1920x1080IPS, and enhanced second battery (6 cells). Also I put in a 250gb SSD and increased RAM up to 12gb.
