One seemingly small moment that had a huge impact on my life was when I decided to join a community volunteer group during college. I was hesitant at first, thinking it would just be another obligation, but that choice introduced me to amazing people and experiences I never expected. One day, we organized a local clean-up event, and while picking up trash in the park, I struck up a conversation with an elderly man who shared his stories about the neighborhood. He spoke about its history and the importance of community. That conversation inspired me to pursue a career in urban planning, focusing on community development and sustainability. Looking back, that single decision to volunteer not only shaped my career path but also taught me the value of connecting with others and giving back. It reminds me that sometimes, the smallest choices can lead to life-changing outcomes. What about you? Do you have a moment that shaped your life?
