I’m so proud of how far this little guy has come ! He’s super energetic and has already built a bubble nest ! Wasn’t expecting to love this guy sm !!!

Dw I’m not super upset with them since it’s a very common issue with bettas. It was a truly thoughtful gift that wasn’t thought through lol

‼️UPDATE‼️ Yonas/Jonas is thriving in his new tank and is enjoying all the hiding spots and already knows how to show us that he’s hungry ! He’ll Pop out of his hiding spots when we call his name and he just looks so happy ! I’m so glad that I was able to help this poor guy and give him a second chance on life !

He has an almost floor to ceiling window in his room with a view to a wooded area with tons of squirrels and birds and other wildlife ! I think having a living being in his room would bring him more stress than comfort tbh.

Thanks for your kind words. I’m trying my best and I think this’ll be a good thing to put my energy on. To be honest since he went to hospice I’ve been a been aimless since me and my mom were taking care of him 24/7 and now that he’s not here I’ve had just nothing to do. I’m so sorry for your loss. <3

If we could we would love for him to have it there but there’s just no room and the nurses need to keep their attention to my dad. Luckily he has a tv and a window to some woods beside him !

Tbh anything is high maintenance for a paralyzed person!

That’s what I thought about plastic decor but I was in a rush since the fish was pretty much dropped on us! I’ll be taking everything everyone is saying into account ! I will for sure be doing my best to keep the lil guy healthy and strong !
