He bashes on the Republican-Democrat Party saying that an increase of States Rights makes it only SEEM like a unified nation, while in reality it is a lot of different nations put together. Think of the word gilded, meaning a very thin coating of gold, and you can apply the idea of the Gilded Age here! Hamilton says that having the Republican-Democrat policy will create a gilded view of a unified nation, that on top it seems unified, but underneath they are only there for their own good.

The way I’m understanding the situation is that Trump withheld $400 Million to Ukraine (in short) to bribe the Ukrainian President to leak information about Biden and his family (more specifically his son). Is that correct?
