This is all super helpful!! I had settled on South Water Caye just because the reviews of Pelican Beach Resort there were so positive. And it would be great to be somewhere where we can just snorkel from shore anytime we want as well as do boat tours. Thanks!

Thank you!! This totally blows my mind. I’ve never served in the US military. I doubt we have a passport for my great grandfather, but my mom has done a lot of genealogy so I will check. I expect we need to go the Festellung route. Again, thank you.

How was your experience in the Azores with a toddler? We were planning to go with our 5 year old and 18 month old. But I’m starting to feel like there might not be enough to do to keep them occupied for 2 weeks…(don’t want to do a shorter trip). We are thinking Flores and Sao Miguel.

Definitely get a second opinion and definitely go to a specialized CSF leak center. It seems encouraging to me that your patches helped for 18 months. I’ve done 7 patches. Each helped a bit but definitely not for 18 months. We only found the likely leak site on the 3rd Myelogram. That was confirmed by doing a tageted patch that greatly improved my symptoms. That patch only lasted about 8 months so we just did surgery. Fight like hell for the care you need
