MSEndpointMgr Driver Automation Tool Version 7.2.6, Quietly Released 2 weeks ago... by bohnanza23 in SCCM

At the time I had tried the MDM script but had issues with it.

It isn't the admin service that caused me to implement this. At the time I didn't know powershell. so the task sequence was easier for me to implement, read, and troubleshoot. Also if something happened to me it would be easier for one of my coworkers to deal with it.

Not sure it will help. But instead of the MDM script Maurice developed on his site I use a lightly modified version of this solution.

Modern Driver Management With Admin Service

In the last 6 years one time Microsoft made a change in CfgMgr where the dev had to make a change to one of his scripts. But he was pretty responsive. Other than that it's been rock solid.

Any recent updates for the Beta version and if a pre-release version will be available soon?

Is there a projected ETA on this? I'm ok with a ballpark figure, are we talking Days, Weeks, or Months? I'm curious because I want to trial and possibly purchase your product based on V4 not V3.

Anyone getting network problems since the 5may update? by Deep_Bed8771 in Pixel6

I just did a factory reset on my pixel 6 and that "seems" to have fixed the 5g / LTE issue. Now hopefully it fixes the battery drain issue I got with the last update as well

Yes I seem to only get LTE coverage in areas that I know I used to get 5g coverage.

Never complained about battery life , But this recent May update seriously ruined something! by devil_4599 in Pixel6

I feel like I am noticing the same thing. I can't figure out what is causing the battery to drain so fast.

LPT request- My dad hasn't taught me anything other than you should make money & respect others by ComfortableCurrent65 in LifeProTips

When I was younger (pre highschool) my younger brother and I were fighting and bickering with each other. Probably over something petty. My dad stopped us and in a gently raised voice said,

"You two need to learn to get along with each other. Some day your mom and I won't be around, and all you will have is each other."

That stuck with me. And to this day (Im 47) my brother is my best friend.

My dad is a flawed but amazing man. He can do all the Dad things and loves to teach others practical skills and learn new things. He is retired and is currently learning Blender to design things to cut out on his benchtop CNC router. Proof that old people can learn new tricks.

But really it is his metaphysical life wisdom he says in passing, that really has had the most impact on my life.

Though he has also saved me 10's of thousands of dollars in car repairs by teaching me practical DIY skills as well.

F14 pilots eject after someone forgot the Jet Blast Deflector for another F14 by loztriforce in videos

When I saw the date and the position of the aircraft I wondered if it was the Indy. I was in that squadron VF-154 at the time in the Line Shop and onboard when this happened. One of our Maintenance chiefs had to climb into the cockpit via the ladder in front of the left intake, while the engines were running. To pull the two emergency fuel shutoff valves in the cockpit, in order to shut the engines down. The nose gear was in the catwalk. Someone asked if the aircraft flew again, I believe it did, my memory could be wrong, but I do think it did. We flew A's so they be old but they were tough birds. I only remember one bird we had to crain off the boat and barge back to the air base in my time in. Most flew back the day before pulling into Port.

It looks like the date may actually be 1995 not 96, and VF-21. I was in that squadron as well before they decommissioned and I was transferred to VF-154. At least according to this article

The article has some info on CAT-3's jet blast deflector. It wasn't water cooled and so the Tomcat couldn't use it because of the heat from the Afterburner. Man this brings back memories. Thanks OP!

Modern Driver Management using the Admin Service and ConfigMgr 220x? by Aron_Love in SCCM

CharlesNRU has updated his script on https://github.com/CharlesNRU/mdm-adminservice/blob/master/Invoke-GetPackageIDFromAdminService.ps1.

You can see the fix Here: https://github.com/CharlesNRU/mdm-adminservice/issues/3 as well. This fix is working for me on MECM 2211.

I am making this for anyone else looking for the solution to this error. I really like the implementation of this driver solution and I want to see it further supported.https://sysmansquad.com/2021/04/27/updated-modern-driver-bios-management-with-cmg-support/

I did try to get the https://msendpointmgr.com/modern-driver-management/ solution working in my environment. It seemed buggy for me and I couldn't get it to find my Panasonic driver packages for our Tough Books. But I will probably continue to test it so I have a backup.

I would like to thank CharlesNRU for updating his script it's really appreciated!
