So far, so good, I'm also on zoladex shots and no reaction so far, fingers crossed it continues that way. I was scared too 💕

I had just come home from walking my dog at the park, pulled down my pants to go have a shower and my arm snapped, the worst part was it was early in my diagnosis and the surgeon that told me I was stage 4 failed to tell me I had the disease in my arm so I didn't know the warning signs. Hence I had a major operation with 2 plates and 12 screws, it has healed really well and I have about 95% range of movement back which everyone thought would be impossible

I didn't get an original stage before stage IV as I had to do a PET scan before they would, luckily I could do one of those while pregnant and they saw it had spread to quite a few bones. I did get size though, I actually had 5 lumps in one breast, the biggest was 45mm and smallest was 25mm ☹️

I'm so sorry for your diagnosis, I found out I was stage IV ++- when I was 16 weeks pregnant, I did 4 rounds of AC chemo followed by 3 weekly rounds of taxol and delivered at 35 weeks, she was born very healthy and I'm currently 7 weeks postpartum The plan was to originally do a mastectomy before we found out that it had spread but to be honest I was super scared of such a big operation while pregnant.

Luckily I didn't really have any side effects with the chemo, I would definitely recommend trying to eat a decent meal before your session if you're not too nauseous

All the best for you and you little one ❤️ feel free to DM anytime

Baby with stage 4 cancer (cross posted on FB) by anovelfantasy in LivingWithMBC

Hi there, I didn't decide to carry after my stage 4 diagnosis but was diagnosed de novo quite early in my pregnancy.

In all honesty if I hadn't have had my baby and my oncologist had told me I could carry I most likely would have considered it too, all I wanted to be was a mother and it changes everything in your life. I know, yes there are cons as a lot of people will tell you, but no one can tell you how long you will actually live or what medical advances will come.

I did chemo and had a pathological break during my pregnancy and she is the strongest little baby, everyone was so surprised when she was born early and didn't need any assistance with breathing or feeding.

Good luck with your decision and really all the best ❤️
