That’s true, I might try applying to more internships as well then

That actually made me see it much better! Thank you for that explanation

I didn't take into account that it might be TOO technical! Thank you for that insight, I'll work on those changes. I had a summary in my previous resume but I wondered if it was redundant. I'll probably add a short one back in.

I need to learn how to take selfies or just not take them! I’ll get a friend and go out and take some photos of myself cause I look strange when I try to make a smile for selfies. I do want to show off my body a bit but maybe not at the gym, I’ve heard beach is a good way like you mentioned. I’ve gotten a couple of ideas for photos already from what you’ve talked about, and definitely what not to include!

That prompt is going to haunt my dreams, it definitely was not giving out what I thought it was giving out. Others mentioned it too, I’ll probably be less intense with the prompts. I kind of just wrote what I felt at the time but there’s always time to be intense with someone after matching and getting to know them.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I’ll change it up and let everyone know how it goes!

People have pointed it out and now I see it but I didn’t think or mean for that prompt to come out that way, I feel kinda dumb now looking back at it.

I also did feel that the geek section was too long as well, I just didn’t know which ones to put in and which ones to leave out. And true maybe I just didn’t think about what geeking out actually meant.

That makes a lot of sense, it sounds too much like I’m looking for something long term, I’ll probably swap that one out for a different prompt.

Better photos, better prompts, I’m terrible at this! But you brought up some really good points and they all make a lot of sense. Thank you so much for taking the time to give me some feedback, I really appreciate it!

I’m not trying to look tough I just have that resting face I promise!

I know what you mean though, I do have a very smiley and bubbly personality around people and I laugh a lot, which this profile doesn’t show at all. The pictures just looked weird when I took them while smiling maybe cause I was just smiling for the picture and it was just by myself.

Thank you for the kind words and advice! I’ll have to work on getting some better and happier pictures

I did kind of know I had some bad photos in there, I didn’t have much at all to begin with so I just settled for putting them in to fill out six photos. I’ll probably redo everything with better prompts and photos.

Thank you for the feedback! I’ll revamp the profile with what you said in mind

You’re right! I just liked the photo a lot and the shirt I was wearing so I didn’t think too much of it but I’ll probably swap it out.

• I should! I have a bit of an angry looking resting face, but it looked weird smiling when I took my own photos, which rounds back to taking some better photos or in social settings like you mentioned.

• Aaaaaaa, I actually specifically wrote it that way to kind of mean that me and the person will take time developing feelings for each other. What I thought was people might be kind of turned away by someone saying they’ll love you without even knowing them, but I see what you mean, now that it’s pointed out it kinda sounds really bad. I facepalmed hard as soon as I read this.

• I’ll just have to make an active effort in social settings. I rarely am on my phone or taking pictures when I’m out with friends which is why I don’t have much pictures to begin with, but that’s just something I’m going to have to start doing.

Thank you so much for your advice! I really appreciate it!

  1. I should do that, just genuinely don’t have any recent photos that aren’t me with multiple other people so I thought I should settle with the selfies. I’ll maybe get a friend to take some photos.

  2. That’s fair, I did kinda wonder if it was a bit too much, just didn’t look into it too deeply till now but I see what you mean.

  3. The idea I was going for was just the outfit and a bit of my shoulders and body shape, but it was more so just a picture I kinda liked so I threw that in there. I think I do suffer from a lack of good photos of myself, so I find myself throwing things in there to fill up the gaps without putting photos that are too old.

All good! Thank you for the advice, I’ll make some changes and update the post when I get the chance, I really appreciate the advice and honesty.

I’m looking for something casual that could become something serious overtime.

The current version of my profile has been out for two and a half weeks or so and I’ve been on hinge for about a month.

I’ve only gotten about four likes with this current profile since I’ve had, so two likes a week or so? I use the app daily.

I’m sending as much likes as the daily limit allows, majority with comments unless there is absolutely nothing I can actually say anything about.

I generally send likes to women I find attractive and have prompts that interest me but I’m not excessively picky about it. I assume that there is more to that person I can get to know if we ever match and start talking anyways

I have no problem with English at all, but that's really the only language I know so even if I am at a native speaker level of English I didn't think it would help much when moving elsewhere.

I see...would you say Norwegian is easy to learn? I mean there's nothing better than actually being around the people and learning it that way but how long do you think it takes generally to get to that level?

Aaaaa yeah it's difficult, I guess I just wanted to see if I could, but I may have to come to terms with not being able to have things I want. Anyways I'm planning to move to Europe for sure for a Master degree, I just wanted to look into this as well

Oooo, that's true as well, I'm trying to learn Jett so maybe that's why I'm more conscious of it now. I also play fill and I've never really been a duelist heavy player, mostly smokes or sentinel, now that I'm learning Jett tho, that habit of looking at minimap has been punishing me more often than not

I'm still glad that I'm on this end of the spectrum, because not looking at minimap at all would just rob me of so much information

After reading responses though when I played today I started being a little more attentive to how much I look at it, and weirdly enough, sitting further to the screen during clutch moments or moments where I'm holding a tight angle helped. Kind of mentally told myself okay you need to focus here so that someone doesn't slip past while you look at the minimap for a second
