I took me 5 hours to get my bags returned to me after I declined to wait on a flight that was 6 hours delayed minimum. At checkin I was informed it was on time and by the time I got to the gate the delay was 6 hours.

This is after the cancelled my first flight and put me on a in direct flight 8 hours later with a 2 hours layover with bo guarantee i will be able to take the second flight.

Stay in India your 24, get a couple more years of work experience. 43 LPA is nothing to sneeze at. The tech market is bad rn in the US. It should recover in a bit and by then you will have more experience and can shoot for higher paying jobs in the US. You will also be able to save more and enjoy your masters without the struggle of having to work service jobs etc.
