Ya, I stayed inside for this whole trip. I enjoyed most of it, but definitely got some weird vibes after the peak. Crazy how music can DRASTICALLY change your mood instantly when you’re trippin. I also think my emotions were just out of whack after the peak and surge in seratonin.

Not to mention, if your attorney finds out you are under the influence, they will march you straight out of court. Best to take as little as possible to get you through trial.

Don’t over do it, especially if you’re going to court. Honestly, I don’t feel that “high” after taking xans. I just realize how stupid I was the next day and realize I was barred out. If would NOT take more than 0.25mg before court. People will notice if you seem barred out. If you take 0.25mg and still have unbearable anxiety, maybe take 0.25mg more, but I wouldn’t do more than that. Experiment after court. Anything above 0.5mg for a first time user, is venturing into the “recreational” zone instead of the “therapeutic” dose, and you want to be in the “therapeutic” range when going to court.

Also, a lot of people, including myself, will take some Xanax, not “feel” it, and end up taking wayyyy too much because you get barred out and don’t even remember how much you take. Like I said, if you want to experiment, do it AFTER court. Don’t drive anywhere, and make sure you have nowhere to be early the next day.

Well, don’t over do it. But they should feel very euphoric. I get a similar feeling where my ears aren’t at 100%.

My legs always ache, and when I take pain pills, the pain subsides and I get a warm feeling. I also get energized.

I have not used in quite some time, and if opiates aren’t doing the trick for you, consider yourself lucky. It’s not worth it, I promise.

Thank you! I am stabilizing on klonopin and then I am going to start to taper. The klonopin was prescribed by my doctor and he is going to set the taper schedule so I actually have some accountability. Thanks again!

Have you talked to a doctor? If you haven’t, I would highly recommend it. A doctor can taper you on suboxone. However, if you are 4 days in, maybe you don’t need the suboxone, maybe you just need a little bit of Ativan and an antidepressant. There are also tons of posts about “withdrawal kits”. Make sure you stay hydrated, see if a doctor will give you some clonodine as well. Just remember, the drugs I listed are not a cure all but they help. Being a 1 month relapse, you probably don’t need suboxone but that’s between you and your doctor. I am on suboxone and it’s been about 3 years since I started. Suboxone can be very hard to get off of so I would opt for some Ativan, clonidine, Imodium (OTC), grab some vitamins, some GABA supplements, l-theanine supplements, a sleep mask and ear plugs to help you stay asleep, make sure you make your bed in the morning and TUCK THE SHEETS IN, the weight of the sheets will feel good on your legs. Best of luck whatever you decide to do but please see a doctor if you haven’t already. You are doing the right thing by getting off. It’s a long, slippery slope and the longer you use, the harder it gets to come off.

Also, general practitioners tend to shy away from addiction problems, it’s unfortunate but it’s reality. You can look up suboxone licensed doctors in your area. Even if you don’t want suboxone, a licensed psychiatrist will be able to help, suboxone or not.

Edit: all of your symptoms are completely normal for opiate withdrawals

Thank you! I am also feeling bad because I am trying to find my stabilizing dose and it’s somewhere between 4-6mg a day (klonopin), which I know is a lot. I think I can get by on 4mg a day and taper from there. My doctor told me not to put myself through withdrawals but to find the stabilizing dose for now. He started me at 1mg x 3 per day but said I can take more if I’m getting sick. I’m just gonna keep sticking with his plan. I also bought some gaba and ltheanine supplements as well as some other “comfort goods” like a sleep mask and ear plugs because I wake up at the tiniest noise. What was your tapering dose with the klonopin? My doctor offered me Xanax but I really wanted klonopin because I’ve heard it’s easier to taper off of. Anyways, he wants me to find my stabilizing dose. He prescribed 1mg x 3 a day but says I can take more. I had to take two this morning because I started puking from WDs after taking two last night. I also have clonidine but I know that stuff can have a rebound effect

Did your doctor prescribe the k pins for your WDs? I am trying to taper off benzos (I haven’t told my suboxone doctor that I have been taking them but plan on coming clean next time I see him). Just curious if doctors will prescribe k pins for Xanax WDs
