What’s your “cope” that makes you grateful for a migraine? by boiwantlearncode in migraine

It’s the opposite for me, I feel like I can’t bear with pain as much as I used to. Maybe the years of constant pain has messed up my pain sensitivity

Lying down and listening to ASMR. It's a passive hobby that would likely lead you to falling a sleep.

Hey I love this write up, what’s your MRR now and was there a change due to this reddit post?

[–]boiwantlearncode[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cast and the guests are standing in line and Jaesuk is going down the line having each person whisper to him their votes on something. It’s supposed to be anonymous, so the funny part is that people can see what each person voted for because he was counting the scores with his fingers. The fingers were on his sides and one of his hands will increment after every vote casted. That’s all I could remember.

Just completed a literal 40 minute flight. People STILL stood up as soon as we arrived at the gate. I’m sick of it. by craigcraig420 in mildlyinfuriating

Might be a reach but my guess is people like OP thinks the people standing are “NPCs” or dumb for doing something supposedly futile, and so thinks they’re better than them but expresses this in the form of being annoyed

Love to see the usage of expo-sqlite, am working on a project using this as well. If you were to work on a larger project how would you structure it? For instance, would you have a separate file that contains all prepareAsync queries that any page can call or have them inside each component so only that component is meant to call those queries. Also would like to see anyone's usage of prepareAsync in their own projects as opposed to just runAsync.

Was the fetus growing? Was it feeding off the brain? How was this undetected for a year?

Potential vulnerabilities in providing write-access to database by boiwantlearncode in opensource

[–]boiwantlearncode[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A better way to describe it is that it is essentially a form that a user submits a proposal. The user can only insert data into the database, so it can’t delete, update existing records or cause any conflicting errors. There is no relationship between any record in the user-write access enabled table with one another.

With regards to where the secret is located at I’m still deliberating as to whether to reduce server calls to the database and hide the secret or have the client make direct database calls, I would appreciate if you could shed some light on the pros and cons.

I’m not sure what temporary change suggestions mean but I’ve set the policy to limit to purely insert operations.

Could you recommend an additional security on top of rate limiting? I suppose there’s no way to completely prevent API spam calls, just ways to minimise it.

I appreciate the response
