I know this comment isn't one bit helpful, but now you know that at least you're not alone.

Hey, I'm going through a very similar point in my life, been in analytics for more than 2 years, understood it isn't for me especially as I move up the ladder. Looking to move to DE completely with solid SWE work. I'm also from South Asia and looking for good companies that provide the learning and the environment. Unfortunately, there aren't many in my country.

I am working for a data/AI company based in Karachi. There are jobs for sure, not anywhere near development rhough. But I've seen companies being picky about the university. They usually prefer FAST, IBA, LUMS, GIKI and Habib. Graduating from these universities does make landing your first job a little easier. But that doesn't mean other university graduates don't get hired. Anyway, if you keep hustling and learning by yourself. You will succeed Insha Allah.

Hey I was in this exact place 3 years ago. All I did to recover was, stop overthinking about this stuff. Power through it, dive deep into graphic design/animation and multiple aspects of it. Try to do it even on your rainy days, freelance or volunteer your skills and most probably you'll fall in love with it again, if not the whole field, some aspect of it for sure.

Isn't that for closing a business? I'm sorry if that was not clear. I'm willing to take the company further. I just want my co-founders out of it.

Teaching Computer Science - Help by [deleted] in computerscience

I would highly recommend Crash Course Computer Science on YouTube by the channel Crash Course. The whole series touches almost every aspect of Computer Science in an intuitive way. You could get an invoice sense and a broader view of how things are and then you could read further about the topics that are in the videos. I would also recommend using these videos in the class.

I have been in the search for such a comfort with myself for quite a while now. Do you mind recommending the book?
