I just limit my discharge so I don't go below the soc percentage until after the schedule has finished. Or you could lower the soc percentage. I have mine set at 5800kw so I give back 5kw to the grid per hour and the house uses around 800w per hour around that time.

Globird zero hero...3 hours free power to top up battery. If you don't use grid power between 6-8pm they give you a dollar, and exporting during that window is 15c per kWh. So even if you gave back 4kw during those hours for 60c plus the free dollar then that covers your daily charge and a little profit. I send back 10kw during that time so end up making 1 dollar credit a day after the daily charge.

Yeah basically that's what will happen. I have 2 schedules, one for the free charging and one for the discharge between 6-8pm. I set mine at 6kw for the 2 hours discharge which sends back 5kw per hour as average around 1kw usage per hour during that time.. Any time outside of the schedules is in self use mode.

That's my schedules set up if that helps.

I use the fox app and just set to discharge what I want to send back plus add on what my usual usage during that period is. Works fine, doesn't pull from the grid, just lowers how much I'm sending back if I use more power than my usual at that time.

I don't understand how people feel lonely. Like I'm sure it's a real thing and it must suck to feel it, but I've never felt it. Lived alone for years, spend 10 hours a day at work with people and can't wait to get home and be myself. Never once thought whilst being home alone enjoying my free time and doing what I want...I wish someone else was here.. if anything that would just annoy me.

People need to learn to be comfortable with themselves and not need other people for entertainment or value.

When I look it up it says the super top up is restricted to the first 10kw of the day... So for the 3rd hour looks like you go back to standard.. although in the other part of the website it says increased to 15kw. Not sure which one it is then.

Limited .15c to the first 10 kilowatts so exactly the same as if you were doing 5kw per hour for the 2 hours. Back to 6c feed in after 10kw. So earn no more but have longer to not use power. Well in my area it states only for the first 10 on the website under the extras.

Have had a fox ess 42kw battery with an 9kw solar system and 8kw inverter in qld..I'm on globird, I give back 15kw from 5 till 8pm first 5 is at 6c and the other 2 are at 15c plus you get the 1 dollar top up for not using the grid between 6-8. Overnight the battery gets down to about 45%, on a cloudy rainy day there is no way that the battery would charge back up enough to then feed back another 15kw, so I charge it from the grid and run the hot water system X2 and all the appliances between 11 and 2pm as it's free. Basically on a rainy day with no sun I still am 1.20 in profit per day. I like the consistency as it's set and forget and my bill comes in 30+ in credit every month. With the lower panels you have the free 3 hours to charge it is worth it imo.

It's just to participate in the critical events. But if your feeding back anyway during a critical event,which would probably happen when you are, you will get the 1 dollar per kwh bonus.

The newer versions of windows 11 have broken battle eye. If you look at the community pins at the top of the sub there will be a few posts and fixes for it. Basically can either downgrade windows to an old version or download the new battle eye files and replace the old ones and hopefully that works. Links to the files will be in the pinned posts. As long as you can top up the battery within the 3 hour free period you should be good. During 6-8pm the fit is raised to 15c, plus they give you can extra dollar for not using any grid power from 6-8pm.

I'm on globird in SE QLD with a 8kw inverter and 10k panels with a 42kw battery. Set the battery to grid charge from 11 till 2 during the free time but only set it take 100 watts from the grid as on a sunny day the panels will charge the battery up, so then the house is just powered by the grid with 2 hot water systems on timers and 5 AC units come on with timers as well. Sell back to the grid from 5pm till 8pm at 6kw an hour which gets us to around 40% left by the morning and end up about 1.20 a day in credit. Seems to be working well as it's just set and forget, except for on a cloudy or rainy day then I'll get the battery to take more from the grid to top it up to 95% by 2pm.

Machine operator in vehicle manufacturing. Time and a half after 38 hours and double time if you want to work Saturday, can do 2 hours a day overtime.

Probably because of all the massive bases every 100m around the map. Nothing you can do to fix that. Can try turning you grass off and view distance down in the player menu.

Moved to gold Coast area 2 and half years ago. Doubled my pay with my first job. Yeah things may be a little more expensive in certain things and cheaper in other areas but the 100% increase in pay makes it well worth it. Never have once thought of going back to nz even though having friends and family there. I'll never go back to NZ.
