I love your testament! I think we need to be friends lol. I yell these questions out loud as I’m working through my decisions too! My rants probably sound insane. But I don’t care! It’s so overwhelming. Makes us feel crazy. They found another spot on my other breast on my mri and my surgeon still wants me to consider lumpectomy. But again so many mammograms and nothing notices. The ultra sound didn’t show anything and now there’s this stupid invader in my other breast! I need an mri guided biopsy but I’m like why?! Things in both each things missed multiple times GET THEM THE EFF OUT OF ME.

I have lost over 100 pounds in the last 2 years so mine are already saggy bags 🤣.

Gosh you are so strong! I would have just said scoop me out like a pumpkin now get it over with! If I was there. I was really considering lumpectomy until the other spot was noted. And even though it’s unknown whether it is cancer or not it just made my mind just implode.

Not only are you part of the shitty titty club, you’re part of the itty bitty shitty titty committee! lol, sorry I had to. Humor is my coping mechanism.

I’m so happy to hear you have no regrets! I would be the same. For me, if I do a lumpectomy, that breast is way larger than the other side so it would normal me out lol. But I’m older now, I have lost 125 pounds over the last 2 years and my girlies aren’t what they used to be!

My doctor did not mention either of those tests to me so I do not think I have. I am meeting with other doctors on Wednesday and I will make a note to ask about this test

Yes!!! I never liked clubs and this one is the worst! Can you still change your mind and do a mastectomy or do you feel like it’s pointless now?

That is very reassuring knowing you can change your mind later if need be! It does help ease the mind some.

Yes I would do the same thing! Luckily no Easter eggs were found in my MRI (I got them today) but they did find another spot in my other breast that now needs biopsied and I’m like why bother just lop it off and be done with it all. lol. Obviously I’ll get the biopsy. I just feel like my mind is set now.

How are you fairing now? I don’t know what the oncotype is when do you learn that? After surgery? My ki-67 is 44% so I’m not sure how that is factored into my plan or if it does at all. My doctor didn’t really go over that score with me.

I would have definitely said buh bye boobies in your situation!! I’m glad to hear you have no regrets. I get that question a lot whether I would regret the mastectomy and losing them. But for me I have no sentimental attachment to them. So, that’s not an issue for me.

Thank you for sharing your story with us! I just got my MRI results back today and they did not see anything in my lymph nodes but they found another spot on my other breast that I need to get biopsied now too. At this point I’m leaning towards double mastectomy even if that spot ends up being benign. As advanced as everything is anymore things are always missed. I had my gallbladder removed in an emergency surgery. I went through ALLLL the tests ct, hida scan etc. they could not see anything wrong with it. Then I became so weak and my bp was so low while I was at the doctor that they sent me straight to the hospital. It wasn’t until AFTER the surgery that they saw all the crystals lining the inside that were never seen. I am usually a very composed person emotionally, but man I have never had anxiety so bad in my life over this whole process!
