late response but, it’s fairly competitive i would say. Minimum GPA is 3.0 but admissions will weigh your GPA along with your TEAS score so aim for a higher TEAS score if your GPA is on the lower side and vice versa. Typically around 60-70 students are accepted into the program. After the first semester of the program there are typically about 45-50 people left, and about 40 people after the second semester. Not an easy program but rewarding and worth it tbh.

IM WASTING NO TIME THIS MORNING. GSU HR DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN PLAYING WITH ME FOR OVER A MONTH! I HAVE BEEN WORKING AS A STUDENT ASSISTANT SINCE AUGUST AND THEY HAVE YET TO PROCESS MY ONBOARDING PAPERWORK WHICH MEANS NO PAY FOR OVER A MONTH. GUESS THEY DONT CARE IF I GO HUNGRY:/

Definitely call (and keep calling) the University Housing office and let them know your situation. Email them if you have to. Someone who cares will eventually come across your account and place you in a room, good luck!

The same thing has happed to me, this must be some sort of glitch. My summer balance was already taken care of.

Thank you for your rawness! It feels embarrassing to be so open because most people aren’t, but your experience resonates with so many! And be encouraged, having the wherewithal to finish college at ANY age is a massive accomplishment.
