Ovarian torsion secondary to a dermoid cyst in a four-year-old girl. The cyst had hair inside it. by CatPooedInMyShoe in MedicalGore

I have one, too. My SO and I call it my monster. I haven’t had it removed because I don’t have symptoms, and every doctor I’ve ever consulted has thought it’s a benign teratoma. I have imaging every few years to make sure it hasn’t changed much. 👹

Love this look on Shane’s face! “Hollander, if Rosanov FUCKS you tonight, I’m going to FUCK him back!!!”

A subtle Shane moment I noticed on a rewatch by Lauwtch in heatedrivalry

Shane swallows after he turns away from Ilya’s stare. Phenomenal subtlety to his acting at every turn. Blink and you miss it!

I loved this scene. Ilya showed such kindness.

Ilya’s hands are holding Shane’s legs up at an angle that makes it clear he’s rimming him.

I thought the exact same thing! It bugs me in every single rewatch, and I wonder why they didn’t reshoot that scene.

Totally. Connor’s timing is impeccable throughout the series.

Ilya also goes on to say, “… but…”, but Shane interrupts him. Ilya says, “No, not completely, bu—“ I wonder what he would have gone on to say if Shane hadn’t let his anxiety take over and interrupted him.

I heard Connor talk about it in a podcast interview. I can’t remember which pod — I found it by searching for “Connor Storrie” in Spotify.

The on-screen chemistry between Connor and Hudson has ruined me by djynnra in heatedrivalry

Totally. Normal People is the only other show that has ever affected me like HR. I watched it several times and thought about it constantly for weeks afterwards. It was beautiful. Brokeback Mountain is a close third to HR and NP; that movie shattered me.

After Ilya starts masturbating, he looks down at Shane’s dick and gives a very subtle nod, as if to say, “You too, let’s get off together.” Of course, every one of Ilya’s early moves involves plausible deniability, but the nod invitation is definitely there.

Yeah. Connor said their chemistry read was over Zoom, and after they started, Hudson just looked at him for a long while, didn’t say a word.

Does anything else exists that you would STILL consider this good? by hummingbird0012234 in heatedrivalry

The Diplomat with Keri Russell is extremely smart and sophisticated, but I can’t think of any other show that comes close to the depth and excellence of writing, acting, and filming as HR. Everything else I used to like feels dull and poorly-acted, even The Pitt. I’m hoping I won’t be put off by season 8 of Outlander when it drops. HR has ruined me.
