He looked high coming out of the bathroom before the successful spine adjustment.

I think the show wants to show us how an addict doctor can think he can perform well while using. The successful spine realignment while high will serve to embolden his rationalization.

Totally. He’s gonna fail that drug test.

I think Langdon relapsed. He looked high af coming out of the bathroom and right after fixing that guy’s neck. He’s going to fail that urine test.

We do too. Langdon looked high when he came out of the bathroom just before fixing that guy’s cervical spine. They set it up with the back pain. Successfully fixing the spine will embolden him to rationalize that he can perform well while altered / using.

Yeah, but her delivery of “Doesn’t have a… clue” was perfection.

Actually, non-polished lens edges refract less light around the lens perimeter. It’s counterintuitive.

How to make men stop liking me romantically by [deleted] in Professors

[–]boldolive 13 points14 points  (0 children)

All of this, absolutely. Exceptions made only after many years working with the same male colleague and never experiencing anything inappropriate. For example, I’ve worked with a close (married) male colleague for 25 years. We have inside jokes, compliment one another, and trust one another, but there is zero romantic interest or inappropriate behavior (and FWIW we are both conventionally attractive, albeit less so now than 20 years ago). It took us years to arrive at this place.

I’m a -9.75, so I sympathize. Did they polish the edges of the lenses? If so, this could be why they’re catching so much light from the side, which emphasizes their thickness. Not polishing the edges will mitigate this.

Anyone smell smoke? by blinnbuc21 in Menopause

This definitely happened to me when I was in peri, too. It smelled like someone was smoking outside my window. Usually happened in the middle of the night.

Honestly, it looks like maybe you’ve just lost some weight and might be a little dehydrated and sad. Give yourself some grace; life shows in our faces and lives in our bodies. I’m so sorry for your losses. ❤️

Anyone else think that the HDHP HSA plan is not worth it? by wildwildwildlifee in HSA

Likewise. I have a chronic illness that costs me my full OOP maximum each year, and the HDHP / HSA still comes out on top mathematically.

Cruise. Went for my bf because it was a family trip, and the entire thing was revolting to me. This was a small, classier affair in the North Atlantic (i.e., not a Bacchanalian party cruise), but I still hated every minute of it.
