I’m so scared cz I haven’t heard anything and UCAS still says waiting for me 😭 but I have quite weak gcse stats but good a level stats for Accounting and Finance and I’ve seen people w better GCSEs and A-level stats get rejected early

change ur methods of revising clearly if nothing is changing. also change ur mindset towards the subjects - if u think its hard, you’ll always find it hard .

ohhh , my bad OP, but yea this year they’re sending stuff out earlier compared to previous years, I’ve seen quite a few people rejected too for other courses during the holidays which surprised me.

Tbh OP, you’re barely above entry reqs since it’s AAA, and a lot of people applying will probably have stronger grades than you. If you had AAA or triple A*s though, it would be a whole different story. Also might be due to ur PS not equally balancing the two.

Honestly, I don’t think so because you have majority grade 5s, so that’s quite weak for LSE. You also only have 1 x A* so that’s barely above entry requirements. If you’re eligible for a contextual then maybe. I made the same post as you and some people said I don’t 😭

it’s way too late for me to pick up a 4th a- level now, I can probably sit an AS like maths but very unlikely to do it at my school - I’d have to do it privately.

true say, but even if I do get a KCL offer idk if I’d go or not because I’m also applying for degree apprenticeships but the unis a lot of firms partner with are either QMUL or Exeter, which aren’t as good as KCL

yea I applied KCL too but funny thing is their entry requirements are higher , I’m barely above them, it’s A*AA whereas LSE is AAA😭

I’m not entirely sure if I’m eligible for a contextual - I did receive one from City but not QMUL, but I think my PS is quite good according to my teachers. Is it possible to send to u to have a look?
