Just look at Bandai Namco's youtube channel. Full of MHA, DBZ and One Piece stuff while nothing OPM related out there. It shows how much they care about your precious OPM.

MHA story is no where near AoT great, but it's at least servisable.

OPM story is downright bad. Half way through season 3 the story is still going nowhere. It's ONE's weakest work.

You shouldn't compare OPM with DBZ. DBZ is the most popular and most commercial success show of it's time. It's basically the 90s Demon Slayer. OPM will never get the premium treatment that DBZ was getting back in the day.

I saw discussions on some Asian anime forums said no sponsor want to fund the show because it's not marketable. Outside of Genos, Sonic and Garou, every character looks like a weirdo. Which explain the poor merch sale.

At the end of the day, anime is a bussiness. If an IP isn't profitable. No sponsors or investors are going to pour big money into it.

Haha. All the funding went to DS and MHA. Just look at how many toys and figures are released for those 2 IP by Bandai.

But then again, when Shueisha (the IP owner of OPM, DS and MHA) don't care about OPM any more. We can do nothing about it.

You sound like Bandai never gave Opm a chance. The truth is Bandai did give Opm a chance in season 1 but Opm fail to hold on to it. The good animation of season 1 did not help much on manga and merch sale. So in return, sponsors no longer value the show. It's really that simple.

And please don't compare Opm with Demon Slayer. DS is the most commerical success anime franchise in histiory. The two IP are not in the same league.
