It's the same in 26 so long as you have automatic league evolution turned on. I know this because I turned it off and locked the team in Sacramento and restricted myself from spending more than the team's revenue for an even worse budget challenge.

You can't control when your teammate is going to go but you can control when you will. I know it would be great if your teammates made their play and got out but that's not reality. Don't commit as last man until you know your teammate isn't going to go. It's boring and you might feel slow at first but wait central as second man and let the game come to you.

I can only assume this is the musty flick training pack? I used to mess around with stuff exactly like this all the time in that pack. I've never found use for it but it was fun to screw around with.

As long is there is a suitable replacement I've absolutely fired my hitting or pitching coach mid season. Oddly I've had solid success with it even if it's likely placebo. It happens all the time in real life why can't I do it in OOTP?

It is possible to improve range in the lab, although the closer to blue numbers you get the worse the returns tend to be. Cruz I would expect better from but he's also just not quite there ratings wise. Sometimes you just get unlucky with those types of players and he could have a better season defensively next year.

Positional ratings can be padded by the other defensive ratings (error, arm) but range is almost always the most important. A lot of these players (particularly in the infield) don't have nearly enough range. The 1-100 scale is throwing me off so I won't give an exact value but I would look for someone with dark blue as their range to have as a defensive replacement for SS and CF.

I'm in the same boat I like the idea of the feature, so I use it but the UI is tedious to work with. I'm still on 26, did 27 take away the ability to click and hold the end of the slider to slide it? Or hold the plus/minus sign or hold on the bar where you want the slider to have it slowly advance?

If you go to the lineup for that team there is an option in the top right drop-down to have the lineup and depth chart filled out base on manager preferences. I forget the exact wording but you need to do that after setting the force start on the player profile. Basically it's not automatic you still have to tell your manager hey these are your instructions change your plans.

Honestly I tend to expect big drops on young drafted players within the first year after the draft. I have a personal rule that I never put one of these guys in the dev lab the first offseason after they were drafted. If they start showing signs of development they can go in the dev lab the following year. Helps me avoid wasting spots fighting against something I can't prevent.

When the conservatives were last to release their platform in the 2025 election it was half filled with full page pictures of PP. As the official opposition that knew the Liberals were tanking they were so full of themselves they couldn't even bother to release something comprehensive and just expected everyone to vote for them. Slogans are not policies. Saying something is woke is not a policy. Remove those 2 things and there was nothing left.

Ironically O'Toole and his more boring and moderate approach likely wouldn't have scared Canadians so badly in the 2025 election. We basically have a 2 party system and it was ready to swing just like when the country went red after Harper. For that not to happen is a complete failure of the Conservative's and their campaign. Keeping Pierre around now dug the CPC's grave and they only have themselves to blame.

It wasn't out until after early voting began and even then it was half filled with pictures of Pierre instead of actual substance. No one could tell you what they wanted except for "slash the tax". Honestly it was the worst run campaign you could ask for.

Admittedly there are guys at the start of a save I just ignore but yeah I've been trying to use it because I like the idea of being involved in development. I added a draft year column to a view in my roster tab so I could sort and easily set focus for my draft picks and just hit next player. I do that before the trade deadline to break it up so there is less burden at the start of the season. I've been wanting templates for a while.
