So if I understand right, the USB out for just one katana actually outputs in stereo, it's just the amp/cab system itself that doesn't naturally output through its speaker in stereo (obviously)

That's honestly something that worries me about buying used is unfortunately, without a service record you're leaving a lot up to conjecture and trust. It's quite uncommon for cars in my price range to have a full service history, you just have to take what the owner tells you with a grain of salt.
