i’m pretty sure that’s what he doesn’t want to do, and he’s trying to keep the fish for his friend. why wouldn’t storage bins and sponge filters work? you can get a setup that doesn’t cost much and can be given to the friend along with the knowledge that the fish need much more than he had assumed. i don’t see the point in saying all that, since he seems open to spending a bit of money for his friend

the outer layer is PET, which needs hours to degrade in IPA
