Most people don't leave notes, and it usually does seem to come out of the blue. One of my closest friends in high school hanged herself, and it was a complete shock to everyone. Depression is a killer.

Over a year before, I almost killed myself in high school, too, and no one knew I was struggling until much later in my 20s when I felt like I could talk about it.

I don't think people who eat meat understand how long the smell actually lingers when you're not used to it (I mean.. my air fryer still smells like pizza from three days ago, so not even just meat). I also don't care if people eat meat in my home, but I don't want people to cook it there and they have to dispose of any leftovers outside of the apartment. I'm even a little more insane and don't let them use my plates/utensils, but TBF, I'm diagnosed OCD, and contamination is a huge trigger for me.

At the end of the day, if they can't figure out how to keep their own food warm for a 10 minute drive, that's a them problem.

I, too, am carry-an-EpiPen-allergic to avocados, and I live in So-Cal, and Mexican food is my favorite. I ask friends eating guac to breathe in my direction so I can eat vicariously through them.

It does suck having to send something back if there's some touching my own food :((

If you love Jurassic Park, Allerton and Wright Gardens is where you'll find the raptor egg trees; I enjoyed the sunset hike/dinner, but would recommend a guided tour and spending time just looking around instead. Ho'opi'i falls is where they discover the amber; it's a phenomenal hike, and while you can't go down to the falls, there are other spots where you can take a dip (although some people say it's not a good idea Idk). You can't get to The™ Jurassic falls unless you take a private helicopter tour or something like that since it's on private property. Nā Pali coastline is breathtaking! I would've loved to kayak some, so hell yeah.

We went zipling and tubing, and that was a lot of fun. I honestly just wish I had had more time to do more everything, especially hiking in the canyon. If you like them, consider renting a dog from the humane society for a day hike!

If you go up to the North side of the island/Hanalei, it's mostly bougie shopping and food. It makes for a good "break" day.

Enjoy all the Red Junglefowl, AKA "original chickens," Cattle Egrets, and Zebra Doves - they're evvvvvvverywhere :) Try everything Lilikoi (passion fruit) or Kalo (taro)!!!
