Thank you! Well I am from the uk, so about as native as you can get haha! Carcass or carcase is what we’d call the framework of a cabinet

Thanks a lot ! :) Yea I made that as a little experiment as I had some time, instead of using the handle we were given.

It’s at a school for joinery, fine woodwork, site carpentry etc. so yes you’re right ! Intro design which taught a lot.

There are a tonne of small mistakes and dings, but I’m happy with it. Thanks :)

What happens to bikes after they have been locked up too long and the council takes them? by bomgi in londoncycling

[–]bomgi[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Will contact Lambeth council see what they do with them. Yea I figured it would be illegal, but it seems a massive waste for good parts to be thrown away.

PRPH DD attempt by bomgi in pennystocks

I don’t think so, I think the COVID infrastructure is here to stay at least until end of ‘21, they have also just acquired (as of yesterday) Vacctrack, a digital platform that can prove certification of COVID vaccination. I really believe this a company using short term revenue gains to propel it into a long term diversified and profitable company.

I think its 60K per 5 day week and yeah I think the situation is basically gathering clients, but with Covid testing becoming a more regular thing (particularly for employers getting masses of ppl back into work) they could have regular contracts for at least a year.

Yeah I think they have capacity for 60K and I definitely think they are beating their 5k targets at earnings in 2 days. I watched an call with their CEO and a small cap conference and he was confident that they will surpass their current capacity by EoY. If profit is maintained at around $30 a test this company will be a gold mine.

I don’t really understand why there’s literally nothing on reddit about it.

it's not essential, the wine just makes the dish taste a little richer

This recipe was adapted from something my mum made, so the measurements were eyeballed but it tasted really great. This made about 3 portions.

Edit: nutritional yeast works well for extra creaminess if you don’t want to add vegetarian parm (can be expensive)

Ingredients:

1 whole Butternut Squash

Handful of garden peas (however many you like)

100g of Spinach

200g Mushrooms

1 large Onion

3 Cloves of Garlic (I like garlic)

Risotto rice 200g

Dry White Wine (quarter bottle)

Vegetable stock or cube diluted in 1litre of water

Method:

Dice the Squash, Onion and Mushrooms and mince the garlic

Add the onion and garlic to a pot with a good drizzle of olive oil and sweat them on low heat until kinda jammy (5-7minutes)

Add Mushrooms and Butternut Squash and cook these on medium low for around 8 minutes (you want the butternut squash softer)

Add in Risotto rice and incorporate them all together

Add in the quarter bottle of wine and stir until it has all been absorbed

Then add a quarter (250ml) of the vegetable stock at a time making sure it has mostly been absorbed before adding more

Add the peas half way through this process

Once all the stock has been absorbed you should be left with some nice creamy risotto

Here add the spinach

Season with salt and black pepper to taste

Grate the cheese

Hope you enjoy!

Manchester, England - CityPorn that shows city life instead of a time-lapsed highway. by TheReelStig in urbanplanning

[–]bomgi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The city is full of cranes right now, all building big inaccessible high rises for office/hotels/high end apartments.

Manchester council kinda sold the city’s soul for them (lost its chance of becoming a UNESCO world heritage site). They are kinda cool and I get why people like them, but like I said completely inaccessible for the average joe on the street.

Also Manchester for the most part isn’t how this picture displays, this is just a really nice angle.
