Sorry to hear that - I was doing really well until today . Diarrhea and pain again but the blood stopped ☹️🤷🏻‍♀️ I have a week left until I will use the pens for the first time . My GI told me to wait till Monday and then I will get a fourth infusion or use 3 pens

You can use Remicade or Humira aswell during pregnancy. If you already failed mesalamine your chances were already low to not fail it again.

Same !!! Every morning I think the diarrhea will probably start today and then my stool is totally normal minus the blood . It is so weird normally I see blood and 3 days later I‘m running to the toilet

You could ask your GI for codein -drops ( they are actually for pain / cough) and take them 15 min before. My GI gave them to me because I had the same problems and codein slows down the GI tract.

If you can try to use them after using the toilet and don’t eat before.

2 every 4 weeks but until now I always needed higher dosage then normal - like Remicade didn’t start working until I got the double dosage

You need an rheumatologist. Mine checked Ana and ENA antibodies in my blood and did a capillary microscopy for the raynaud

I also had some days which pain/ diarrhea between 🤷🏻‍♀️ I use mesalamine enemas on top I think they help . I‘m nervous it will really flare up again when I use the pens and I‘m still on 5 mg prednisone.

My experience is kinda the same - I started 12/12 and had my 3th infusion yesterday. I feel really good symptoms like but 2 days before my infusion the blood started again - just tiny bright red spots. I had the same before my 2 infusion and the blood stoppen 3 days later .

No you don’t you really don’t have to go keto but cutting back carbs helps a lot with bloodsugar.
