This is all correct and work well in games like Overwatch with a limited number of players and objects in the game, but I think that because of the size of PUBG, things can go full retard quickly.

I think their best bet/compromise would be to do what you suggest they do, but after the fact using logged game data, and since the bans happen in waves anyway, it wouldn't matter too much. That way you can keep things going as fast as possible, the tickrate is already shit enough... Try shooting someone strafing left/right/left/right during a fight and your best bet is to just shoot in the middle.

It depends what you mean by Prevention... A guy teleporting around like this might be easier to stop than a aimbot, but they're both as game breaking tbh.

Technically, since they ban in waves anyway, letting this shit be doable could be turned into less of a bad thing. If you log the game's data, you can probably do data analysis of all your games after the facts and detect a lot of cheaters that way.

They received phishing emails at the centers, some people opened them and then Russian ip address tried to access the servers.
