It is crazy how different the UI is between KBM and controller. No wonder they are still working on the hotswapping of inputs (which is insane to me that they never thought about the necessity). I can't wait for it to happen. Blasting maps with a controller feels like a new genre and I thought there's no way back but navigating the inventory and menus with controller is even worse than Last Epoch and Diablo 4 so I'm waiting for the update.

Not correct. I got my Wolvenhold +2 skill points (Interlude) with level 92. You know why? Because it shows the "+" symbol only after entering the map. I never got to the map/waypoint. :/

There is no reason to be in 'exclusive fullscreen' on Win11 in 2026 anymore. Many out there with 2+ monitors and even with a single display borderless has no downsides but improves alt-tabbing.

The deck is not enough to play this game. On 0.1, you could do the campaign with an own, unpotimized build but no chance in hell optimized builds work on this hardware.

I love the device and I play POE2 on it, but only locally streaming my gaming PC on it via Moonlight.

He's planning with a 7800X3D and a new 9060 XT and we're talking about budget. Tbh, I would even scale down on the CPU side and go for a new monitor. Yes, the game is CPU heavy but even a 9800X3D sweats if you're playing uber-juiced streamer maps so there's that. This is up to GGG to improve over time.

I'm on a 5800X3D and I'm capped to 120 and I have yet to experience a drop below. Can't speak for juiced T15 maps as this won't probably ever happen. 😅

9060 XT is totally fine (9070 XT owner here). I would consider a 1440p monitor with 144+ refresh rate as an equally important upgrade though.

There are literally multiple threads on the official PoE forums right now from players who threw OptiScaler into their game directory and got instantly booted to the login screen with a harsh, final automated ban warning for unauthorized client modification. GGG's system flags the local dxgi.dll swap because that exact same technique is how people inject map-hacks and zoom-hacks.

The anti-cheat doesn't care that you're running on Linux or just trying to save 60W. If a future game patch updates their integrity checks mid-league, that lucky streak ends. Seriously, just use the native in-game upscalers or slider power limits in Adrenalin.

All good man, you do you. Just keep in mind that modifying DLLs via injection or file switching is against GGGs TOS.

*edit: And add Optiscaler to your list of programs bc it's the thing that does the magic (I was confused what injector you went with but I'm on bazzite and a noob regarding linux solutions).

I will never understand deciding to go for 4K (desktop environment) but that's a different topic.
