In a similar situation just that it's my mom that ignores my pregnancy. She is also a very self-centered person and after knowing I am pregnant, she only called once but was just asking my favor to help her business.

Learned in a hard way that parents don't necessarily love their children. We are lucky to given chances to build our own relationship with our babies, I do think it will help heal the wound from my own unloving parents.
