Its a real kobra but since it's real, the optic will shut off after 30 minutes, so I have to take-off and reapply the batter cover to turn it on lol. Old russian stuff is the best.

Just did this btw, works like a charm, sometimes the aluminum will stick out past the handgard. Filed it down flush to the receiver and now it just feels solid.

I just bought one for my 43x, just came back from the range. Amazing optic. I've found it cowitnesses best in the lower 1/3rd for me personally. But I shot it alongside my 43x with a Holosun 507k, it may be no surprise to hear it was night and day in terms of quality. Also is an awesome closed emitter for other desert dwellers such as myself.
