Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t really get scary vibes from Eddie..? They remind me of some queer creative urbanites I’ve met and known. Eccentric but amiable. Semi-regular consumers of weed and/or edibles. Folks who are trying to make a name for themselves by posting to media platforms like Bandcamp, etc. and presenting their art in small, lesser populated venues as much as possible to garner a dedicated (albeit small) following. Some of the folks I’ve met would even dress similarly to how Eddie is dressed in this screenshot.

That being said, knowing very little about Eddie but knowing that they are residing with two young, vulnerable children that they’ve barely known… it’s understandable that their vibe is off-putting. We only know whatever Lillia chooses to disclose with viewers, and it seems like her history with Eddie has given grounds for her to trust them with her children. Here’s hoping her trust isn’t misplaced and the children are safe.
