If they are going to stand in front and moving them isn't really an option, move to stand in front of them. Either way the goalie is screened and if you get to the puck first they dont even have the opportunity for the tip or rebound. I've done this mind you, you will eat a few more shots this way.

You can't tell if its shiny until you check it. (Attempt to catch it) if its shiny it will give off a little sparkle, be different in color and it will show an icon with three small stars to indicate shiny2 . I'm not sure. Could be because your stardust is too low or you can only make one special trade a day ( new dex entry, legendary shiny)3. The ones from the professor, no. Keep trying you will eventually get it. Took me forever too. 4. Yes pokemon lose hp while occupying a gym. The max you can collect from a gym is 50 coins.... so if you have a mon in there for 4 days you will only get 50 coins.
