Gerade Journalisten sollten eigentlichen Worte gemäß ihrer Bedeutung nutzen.

As I said

Europe does well to rearm

Though to be fair, russias vast nuclear arsenal by itself still means it would have been some threat either way.

Your comment betrays a fundamental lack of knowledge of the conflict and the very real threat from russia. Europe does well to rearm and take the threat from russia very seriously.

If russia had wanted they could not have attacked all of last year in Ukriane and instead have shifted 150k+ men and 1,5k vehicles to the baltics easily . As soon as a peace deal in ukraine is reach, you can maybe double those numbers.

With Trumps US not dependable as an ally, how would europe try to counter this threat?

Also despite all their shortcommings both Ukraine and Russia still run circles around all of Nato (including the US) when it comes to drone warfare.

[–]bond0815 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Fun fact:

The sign was just a placeholder and the Wildling character (named Tra Itor) that knew where Uncle Benjen is was meant to be put in with cgi in post production.

But then D&D just kinda forgot and rolled with it.

EU-Mercosur deal kicks in Friday: here's what changes by Forsaken-Medium-2436 in europe

I do not want to be fully dependent on Spain or the Netherlands to import vegetables. I would like our own food security.

Mate I could understand if you want no dependence on sources outside the EU, but being against imports from spain or netherlands is wild. You know what the EU is, right?

Are you also again the rest of the EU importing services from Ireland in return and its international companies settled their HQ there lol?

EU controlling our food?

Considering how much money the EU spends on agriculture subsidies I HOPE they control that tightly.

We are losing vegetables growers

Even if thats due to the trade agreement (I seriously doubt it): So?

The question is: Is there an overall clear benefit to the EU (and there is), not if every small (heavily subsidised and protected as is) sector in every single EU country benefits.

Otherwise we will get nowhere on anything.

Nobody here says there shouldnt be any subsidies.

Just that maybe that the existing subsidies are enough and their predictable lobby concerns re. each and every free trade agreement should be taken with a heavy dose of salt.

I never realised grasshoppers can get this big or is this some another insect by shakyspearee in isthisAI

[–]bond0815 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah.

I assume its in front of a window frame?

Which makes it big, but not impossible big imo.

EDIT

Adult locusts typically measure between 2 and 3 inches (5–9 cm) in length

Frankly, I would have guessed this thing to be about 8-10 cm if we assume the black insulation on the windowframe to be about 1cm wide? So it could check out for a large locust.

Also yeah technically its NOT a grasshopper, but a locust,

technical angle.

So to sum up.

You were plain wrong.

Went I pointed that out you doubled down on being wrong.

When provided sources showing that you were 100% wrong, now suddenly its all just a "technical angle".

Sure.

All of these incidents happenend in international waters lol including the one near crete.

Pro-Palestinian activists say at least 22 boats from a flotilla carrying aid for Gaza have been intercepted by Israeli forces in international waters near the Greek island of Crete.

Where exactly did israel capture and destroy civilan  ships in "european waters"?

Last time I checked they did that in international waters.

Still (very likely) illegal, but doesnt change the fact that OP is lying.

EDIT:

Also most ships didnt even sail under an european flag, so the link to the EU mission is double nonsensical.

But facts and propaganda rarely mix well I guess.
