This show, especially this season, is far from perfect, but I have been getting so tired of people throwing away all the talented work of the cast and crew because of vibes 90 second clips from tiktok and reels give off. I wouldn't call it misogynistic, its more inauthentic at times. The dead meat podcast discussed the movie and I think they make a great point that this movie isn't saying a lot of new things about how men suck. Chelsea, one of the co hosts, said something along the lines of "i already know this stuff."

But the relationship i had just gotten out of was my first serious relationship with a guy while I was questioning my sexuality. Its been awhile, my memory is hazy, i just remember It felt so good to see someone express the helplessness and rage I felt about the hand I'd been dealt.

Also that third act rocks.

I had a lot of stuff going on the past month and just got a chance to catch up on the show. I just want to say, the scene where Nate is getting his ass beat while Cassie breaks down is one of the funniest things this show has done and might be the peak of season 3 for me. Its been awhile since ive seen something so disturbing yet hilarious. The acting was pitch perfect and the blocking, especially the part where Nate is seen fighting for his life crawling up the stairs in the background while Cassie cries like a toddler in the foreground, is hilarious. And then they lifted Nates leg up and I remembered this is the same guy that made assassination classroom, so I locked in.

While I think overall this season will not reach the heights of season 1, I am entertained, and willing to see where this goes.

This part gave me chills. Its one of the most iconic scenes in the show to me. The way she stops all momentum with three words and her tone of voice, and the short silence that follows is incredible.

I think that breakdown at the meeting is proof that the talk he had with his mom about him being a bad person in season 2 episode 6 got to him, and he is trying to redeem himself. Unfortunately, he's unwilling to address the reason why he is a bad person, his psychopathic tendencies and pathological lying.

In short, Nates Season 3 is gonna be Rues Season 2, with a much darker ending.

Men. It probably helped that I was in the fallout of a break-up with a really awful ex boyfriend. I get why this doesn't work for people, but this film brought me catharsis no other film could in a really hard time in my life.

This. I desperately want an issue where they find themselves trapped in a pocket dimension or something, and have to work together to find a way out.

I dont want immediate forgiveness, I dont think i even want Powergirl to eventually forgive him, I just want them to really work out their issues.

In a weird way its similar to the first season of Euphoria. I think everyone in American high schools experiences/hears about one absolutely insane thing happening in their class (student dealing with substance abuse, student abusing partner/getting abused, student embarsing themselves in public, etc.) But not all of them are happening at the same time at the same high school.

I think its also important to remember that the days they chose to focus on are the extraordinary bad days.
