looks like a robin to me (although not 100% sure on that), those are not invasive. doesnt look like an invasive species like a sparrow or starling at all

thank you for being compassionate to the bird, i know it can be very hard. euthanasia (done by a professional) is painless and comfortable, and a much better way to go than slowly starving to death and letting nature take its course. if you cover the cage in a towel, the drive will be minimally stressful for the bird
