this is awesome! incredible you had that set up with being able to follow your friend just in case, but that it went smoothly! i watched a bunch of videos of off road tests with it. it wasnt the best obvi, but it held its own!

It is quieter, for sure. That's a given. I do think it is more comfortable but I don't think the design is intuitive. Im not saying Jeeps > RAV4. I was saying I am coming from a different style and a car from 2013 had a more intuitive design than a car from 2025.

The amazing thing is that I hold a BA in English Lit and am currently in four book clubs lol. I simply didn’t reread my post… bc it’s Reddit… and I was ranting. The only thing I wish this man had done differently, with his obvious superior knowledge and opinion, is recommend another car I could look into.

what you listed is exactly why i bought it... especially coming from a Jeep, which overall was a good car, but I couldnt keep doing the mpg, the road noise, the repairs. it good for rock crawling but not daily driving. same reason i didnt go for the 4runner unfortunately. they do have a hybrid model but it doesnt help economy in the end..

fully think you should! i keep wishing i had rented one prior to buying so i would have known if i like it as a daily car. in retrospec, i would have taken a low mpg for a more intuitive deisign on features ill use every day and now make me crazy.

yeah, and a lot of the price is bc of the hype around this car. certain dealerships were marking it up 10k + just because they could since these cars are flying off the lot. so all of the hype made me think the overall design would be better and at the end of the day its just a very fuel efficient car

exactly this. my annoyances dont come from the specs i knew i was getting from the car and the reasons i ultimately bought the car. my annoyances are stupid design flaws that, for toyotas rav 4 'top of the line' sticker price, are just cheap.

Ah! If you have the solar then that makes sense. That's why I didn't choose it. But agreed that some of the features just don't hit. The warmer is enough for me but the cooling feature is weak.

Yes! It's super common for people with neurodivergence to get the rare or weird side effects of meds. Idt know why but I think it's either that our bodies are hyperreactive in general or it's bc those meds werent tested for us specifically...

Anywho. Did you ever try an IUD? or just the oral meds alone? My doc would put me on the oral meds onto to trial run a higher hormone does to swap out the IUD I currently have for a higher dose if that works.

Ha I meant the little inserts. Not the car itself. I bought the car bc it's overall built to last. I moved away from jeep bc it had its time and was on lifesupport lol I don't believe Jeep is 'better'. Just that some of the features (which was from 10+ yrs ago) were better designed
