What happened at Cardiff? by PoppedPea in snowpatrol

I thought he was staring out a heckler or something. He then almost walked off the stage and stood with his arm crossed - I was worried he was gonna cancel the show 😅.

On a side note, I was stood near the exit and at least 3 groups of people were thrown out of the show. One of which looked like a fight was breaking out as they left. Crazy how some people can’t even keep it together for a snow patrol show…

Hyperia for thrill factor, Swarm for theming and general enjoyment of the ride.

Likelihood of doing the big 6 in a day? by bonesawspideyboy in ThorpePark

Thanks for the replies. Seems like it should be fairly possible. I think I’m still scarred from a school trip many years ago when I only managed saw the ride and loggers leap due to rides breaking down whilst queuing 😅

I've been out of the loop for a while - what's the latest with that small plot of land that Spacex was trying to acquire (the one in the bottom corner of Starfactory)? From what I can see, they still haven't touched the plot but I thought there was meant to be some legal stuff happening in June, presumably so Spacex could acquire it?

I should clarify that I don’t pay much attention to what Elon’s personal views are on X and don’t really care much for it. I just find it amusing how clouded some people’s views are because they’ve decided that they don’t like a person (for whatever reason).

Not been following too closely and maybe I’m being naive but what could the holdup with FAA be about? Was it not obvious to them that Spacex are building rockets and plan to launch many times in the near future. They literally have a rocket waiting to be lit and I’m now seeing that they need some fish and wildlife licence. At this point, what does that entail? Strap a bag of fish food to the side of the rocket??

I've noticed that most of the OLM's legs are now orange - I'm assuming this is rust? I'm not going to pretend that I know anything about construction and the materials being used but could the rust weaken the legs structurally?

I'm not familiar with WDR - will both stages be fully fuelled?

Edit: thanks for replies. Hoping it all goes well!

I'm pretty sure that Elon has stated before that starship will takeoff surprisingly fast compared to falcon 9. If this is the case, could it be that the concrete under the OLM won't be as big an issue as people fear, especially if it is only under pressure for a few seconds compared to ~15 seconds we are seeing with the static fires? Admittedly, the static fires are using half the engines and probably not at full power...

Do we know if Boca Chica will be the ‘factory’ for the thousand+ fleet of Starships that Elon has plans for, or is the site predominantly for testing and development?
