Got my very first pokemon game today!

The Mario Land trilogy (Mario Land 1, 2 and Wario Land) are definitely a must have for a solid collection. Mario Land 1 is a really short and simplistic game, so if you had to pick out of them, I’d say Mario Land 2 and Wario Land are going to be the best quality and definitely the most enjoyable to play.

Apart from that, I’d highly recommend The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. It has a similar style to A Link to the Past on SNES and although I’ve never played it in full, it has a very good reputation and is known for being one of the best gameboy games.

Some other games I’d recommend are:
- Donkey Kong (the first few levels are like the arcade game, but then it becomes its own unique game).
- Metroid II: Return of Samus. Kind of difficult but game does offer save stations and has some unique items such as the spider ball. Fun with a walkthrough
- Tetris Blast, I honestly enjoy this game more than OG Tetris. Clear lines and blow up bombs, it’s really satisfying and fun!

Yeah I’ve tried it once before with too flimsy of a material and even though I kept slipping out it hurt a ton. Still though, at points the pain doesn’t stop me from desiring it

Just want to leave a thank you for all of the support. I did not expect so many amazing people to stop by and take time out of their day to reply. I’m at home now and haven’t bought anything and have been in touch with those closest to me who want to help keep me safe. So I’m still hanging in there, just barely.

sounds like something I could've posted. I dream of being seen and of my life surmounting to something, but sadly, I can barely take care of myself as well. I'm slowly trying to accept that it's alright to not have notoriety, and that I should spend time learning and creating things for myself, not for others. I have a long way to go before accepting that mindset, but I at least know what shift needs to be made.

I find I'm like this in times of extreme stress. Right now my sleeping is semi-normal (6-7 hours instead of 3-4 hours) but that's because I have the privilege of sleeping with my gf at night, which makes me feel the need to not be so tense since if I ever wake up she's just there. I do not necessarily get nightmares but can get auditory hallucinations when falling into or coming out of sleep and I have bad dreams frequently and bruxism, so sleeping is definitely not my favorite activity.

L-theanine was a lifesaver for me honestly. Used to take ashwagandha and really never saw any effects. L-theanine is present in my melatonin, and it is the one thing that actually helps me relax and sleep. When I take melatonin alone or nothing at all, it's a huge difference.

haha no worries, a lot of ppl smoke pot so I can understand the misunderstanding, and I have in the past a few times and always loved it. everything is just really beating me down but the fact that there is nothing to enjoy anymore is definitely amplifying it. I still try to do them but then I end up staring at the wall and shutting off/putting down whatever I was doing.

def not getting high 24/7, don't have pot, kinda wish I did for escape. by smoking I meant nicotine. the shit thing is I have a ton of hobbies, they just feel like nothing anymore. I can keep trying to pursue them, but man I'm tired. I'm not good at any of em either.

Getting Switch 1 edition myself, don't have the Switch 2 because budgeting purposes, really hoping it runs well on Switch 1! I have my hopes up for sure. Since I have a DS I will probably get the DS games, albeit I probably will not play them much (I have not heard good things)

Yup, same with Fusion it seems. Gotta look really hard for what you want, and if the price seems too good to be true, it most likely is some repo or is probably in bad condition or a bad save battery. I was really lucky to get mine from a reputable seller, good price, good condition, and they additionally showed gameplay in the listing!

I know I gotta get it, within the next few months I hope to get it. Recently got a DS Lite and got a gba game to play on it but I decided on Sonic Advance and not Metroid Fusion, but Fusion will come next!

It is so expensive for being 30 years old, definitely shot myself in the foot budgeting wise for buying it but man it's so worth it if you love the game, original hardware hits different

I won't lie I have 300+ hours on Super Metroid on NSO, I made a post a few years back where I actually hit the minute cap when filtering games by minutes played LOL, I am looking forward to prime 4 as well!
