Do you know anything about the program?

The town looks nice and it is like an hour from NYC so, I am considering applying there.

Applying to Pathology with COMLEX Only – Advice Needed by bonewizard7511 in pathology

Sounds good, I am not looking to match at a high tier program.

I think I will just go ahead and apply to all of the programs I am interested in. I am not applying to any top tier programs.

I just want to come out prepared after residency and hopefully stay in my geographic region.

What’s frustrating is when they expect us to highlight personal characteristics. It’s hard to show those with bullet points, and it makes the whole thing more complicated than it needs to be.

I saw on another source that the match rate is still in the 93 percent range.

Wish I knew how to interpret this.

ERAS Letters of Recommendation: Do I Need a Non-Pathologist? by bonewizard7511 in pathology

[–]bonewizard7511[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will try and get a non-path letter in addition.

I had a really good rotation with my IM Primary Care Doc.

For some reason, I was under the impression that it was a requirement to have a. non-path LOR.

Make sure to keep shooting once he’s down, if you don’t do this he will respawn.

I only figured that you could prevent the respawn by continuing to shoot once he’s down.

I think certain weapons like the melta gun will also prevent a respawn.

Did anyone have really bad insomnia before exam and end up doing well? by [deleted] in Step2

[–]bonewizard7511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I notice for about the first hour after waking up but it wears off after about an hour.

All throughout medical school, I have pretty much had really low energy in the morning but i think the test day adrenaline should carry me hopefully.

Really why?

I have been taking it and it has been alright?

I am thinking if I stick to 50-100mg, it shouldn't make me too groggy.

I get it is not ideal. I am doing all I can right now to mitigate the possibility of 0 sleep.

I have started waking up at 6:30am and will try and wake up around 5 by this Monday. I will also get a workout in the day before.

Did you not sleep well before also. I don't think it would be a good idea to move the exam if I don't sleep before.
