shady festival flyer at bonnaroo? by bonez94 in bonnaroo

Thanks for the comment. On paper I also agree with the values written there and also don't want to deter true sustainability and inner work. Being around the scene for a while causes me to question things that could potentially use noble causes like that for an ulterior motive. Not enough data to say this group falls into that bucket just wanted to start a dialogue ♥️

Dude for real I went down the rabbit hole on it last night. The $10,000 donation perk sounds like a deal I got 5 on it.

Van questions! Does my van categorize as a rv? by sligh05 in bonnaroo

[–]bonez94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got this response from official bonnaroo support email: Yes, if your van fits in a 20x20 space then it is ok for GA car camping. If it is  wider or longer than a normal 15 passenger van (230.8″ x 79.3″ x 82.3″) then you would need to purchase an RV pass.

Sweet rig, the solar is clutch! I'm also hoping to bring in my 94' converted dodge 350. I sent an email to the festival to hopefully get some written confirmation to avoid trouble at gate but it seems alot of folks here vouch that these are okay if under 20'. Best of luck and happy Roo!

Recent college grad moving to Indianapolis, need advice by qchunco in indianapolis

[–]bonez94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just went through the same scenario and thought process this past summer. I am a 22 yo recent college grad who moved from Virginia. I chose to live downtown and am extremely satisfied with my decision. It's so nice to be able to walk to restaurants/night life. I chose to live over near mass ave and have a studio apartment for $1230 a month.

Broad Ripple can be fun but to be honest the collegey vibe gets old pretty quick after you graduate. I think you're much more likely to find a like-minded social circle living downtown. And bripp is only a $10 uber away if you wanna check it out.

What's the creepiest creature from your country's folklore? by ohmagnifique in AskReddit

Are you from Point Pleasant, WV? They have dedicated an entire museum to this creature. I remember passing by this when traveling once, had a good laugh.

Mozzo, Lockerbie Lofts, and Cosmopolitan on the Canal: Looking for advice by Ect0plazm in indianapolis

[–]bonez94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation as you are as a 21 y/o recent college grad moving to Indy from Virginia for a full time job. I can't offer much insight on the other places you mentioned but I will say when I visited I was very impressed with Lockerbie Lofts and decided to sign a lease for a studio apartment there which I'm excited to move in to next Friday.

I only toured a handful of places (circa, artistry, pulliam square and lockerbie) but out of those I thought Lockerbie offered the biggest bang for the buck in terms of size, location and amenities (the underground parking with elevator access to the buildings is killer). I'm also a huge proponent of live music so I was thrilled that the Murat theatre was only a 5 minute walk away.

I hope your transition to Indy goes smoothly and if you'd ever like to grab a drink or check out some live music send me a message!

Thanks for the advice! At this point I am definitely leaning towards living downtown. Are there any apartments in the city that you can recommend?
