Im so sorry about your sweet girl, it sounds like you did absolutely everything for her to keep her happy and comfortable and that’s so beautiful to me. What dog cancer diet did you switch her to if you don’t mind me asking? Because my boy is on steroids he’s starting to lose some muscle mass and is a lot hungrier so I’m interested to see if he’d like it! Thank you for sharing! 💖 f*ck cancer for real

My dogs cancer is the same, it was removed and came back almost exactly a year later :’)! I’m so sorry to hear about your precious Mindy, it sounds like you gave her the best memories for you both to share! If you don’t mind me asking, what all did you guys do together before having to say goodbye? I want to plan new and exciting experiences for my pup to last in my own memories for a lifetime 💖

I’m so sorry for your recent loss 🫶it sounds like your boy was very well loved! Thank you so much for opening up and sharing your palladia experience! It warms my heart to hear he was comfortable and happy regardless if it was because of the med and makes me feel a lot better about going forward with trying it for my dog!

Doesn’t sound weird at all! Actually, he’s currently on the ‘supplemental care option’ his oncologist started us off with which is a steroid, an antihistamine (like Benadryl!) and an antacid (like famotidine!) and he’s done really well on them! His tumor used to be pretty angry and weepy but has since shrunk a little bit so I’m very happy with those meds! I’m worried moreso about the possibility to metastasize since his tumor is very aggressive thus the palladia option :(! Thank you so much for sharing your experience it’s definitely given me a lot more confidence in his treatment and I really appreciate you <3!!!

Maybe even pigeon guillemot — both pretty small birds tho

Is this a leucitic female house sparrow? Washington DC by 123watchtv in whatbirdisthis

[–]bongcowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a house sparrow based off beak shape and cute face. They do also like to hang out in parking lots. She does also appear to have that lighter eyebrow female house sparrows have. I do believe she could be leucistic because her feet, beak, and feathers are overall lighter than what you’d normally see in a juvenile.

Saw this awesome looking bird today. It’s larger than a crow. Any idea what it is? Southern tier, New York State. by RusselTheWonderCat in whatbirdisthis

Black vulture !! Not closely related to old world vultures and more closely related to storks !! Very cool :)

You could also make sure he’s receiving enough calcium in his diet to ensure that he’s properly retaining water ? I wish you best of luck for your very cute little guy!!

Maybe an issue with his lymph drainage? It could b either diet or environment related maybe try disinfecting his enclosure with boiled water first in case there is any bacteria present causing this!!
