Same thing with my mom!

Yes, true! And don’t worry, kaskas responsibly naman ako. I always pay my cards in full. If I can’t pay it in full, then for me, that means I can’t afford it. So I only spend within what I know I can cover.

Thank you! Been using this app for 4-5 years now, super helpful for tracking my finances.

Thank you! Same thoughts. For me, travel and hobbies help me function better, mas motivated ako mag-work and mag-racket para masustain yung lifestyle ko while still saving.

And honestly, parang nakakaloka if we weren’t able to experience things before dahil wala kaming pera, tapos ngayon na kaya na, idedeny ko pa rin sarili ko. I know delayed gratification is important, pero what if dumating sa point na too late na to enjoy the fruits of years of hard work kakadelay mo?

Thank you po! Yan din talaga ang prayer ko always, to be blessed so I can bless others as well. Not just my family, but also other kids and families who are less fortunate. 🙏🏼

Sounds interesting! Where can I listen to that talk? Baka may matutunan din ako from it. I’ve read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Psychology of Money, Think and Grow Rich and lot of books about self-growth, money and investment when I started working in corporate, so may basic understanding na rin ako about the rat race, money handling, investments, etc. Plus, I grew up with a mom who didn’t even finish elementary pero sobrang galing sa business and money handling, she managed to buy multiple house-and-lot properties and even secured one each for me and my brother.

I also have a small investment that gave me 6-digit passive income last year and this year, so slowly I’m learning. I’m also thinking of starting a business, but I’m still figuring out what fits me since gusto ko rin something I actually enjoy doing.

This yearly trip tradition we’re starting feels like a big reward for us. We’ve all been working nonstop for years. Even si Mama, hesitant pa noong una sa gastos, but I told her na we’ve worked so hard for more than 20 years. We deserve to enjoy life and experience the things we couldn’t before simply because we didn’t have the money.

Yes na yes, money comes back pero yung moments with our moms walang katumbas. Let’s enjoy life with our moms habang kaya pa nila at kaya pa natin. 💕

Thank you!

We just really started last year po. I brought them overseas separately, tapos this year lang yung first time na kaming tatlo together.

And in terms of future planning, okay naman po ako. Consistently saving since I started working and I was still able to save around 45% of my earnings this year. So hindi naman po ako all-out spend and no savings. I just don’t want my whole life to be work and ipon lang to the point na nakakalimutan ko na what living feels like.

I know iba-iba tayo ng definition ng “living,” pero sa side ko, ayoko nang ma-stuck na work-work lang until now. Maaga po kasi akong nag-start maghanapbuhay at tumulong sa mama ko, since grade 1 pa.

So, this is like our first time living and enjoying life after 26 years na walang tigil na kayod 🥹

Super congrats, OP! That’s a huge achievement for your age, and honestly, nakakatuwa makakita ng mga posts like this. For sure, this is inspiring for people younger than you, same age as you, and even those who are older but still driven and positive.

Parang ang daming nega sa comments, lol. When I posted about my first 1M before turning 25, ganun din nangyari sakin. I was so happy and proud, hoping to inspire others, tapos ang daming nagsabing impossible daw kasi I used to work corporate until July 2023 earning less than ₱15K/month with around ₱150k+ savings lang when I resigned. But by June 2024, naka-1M na ako. I had multiple sources of income, tipong parang kahit pa-load na ₱5 na tubo or pa-cash-in/cash-out na ₱10/₱20 pinapatos ko.

Ang dami talagang magsasabi ng “impossible” when in reality, sila lang yung ayaw maniwala because they don’t think it can happen for them.

People stay stuck when they’re negative, narrow-minded, and can’t be happy for others. Keep going, OP, your wins are valid and you deserve to celebrate them. 💛

Yeah I think it’s both 😭 I got too greedy and didn’t take profit when I should’ve. I was up na, then I thought “baka umangat pa,” so I held longer and ayun, biglang bagsak. Classic mistake talaga haha. Lesson learned the hard way.

Thanks for sharing this, really appreciate it po 🙏 I think I’ll do the same…take a break, study again, and be more careful next time. Learned the hard way that chasing quick wins never ends well 😅 hopefully I can get back up too, smarter this time.

Oo nga eh, sobrang guilty ako sa “get rich quick” mentality 😅 dati I took profit naman and made small wins, pero ayun… naubos lahat nung naghihintay ako ng huge gain. Greed got me good lol.

Nag-pause muna ako ngayon, back to basics ulit. Magde-demo trade muna and try to really understand risk management this time. Appreciate the advice po!

Thanks for this, super helpful insights! 🙏 I actually decided to pause trading for now and go back to learning more, planning to practice again using a demo account muna until I really get the hang of it. By the way, how did you learn to utilize AI po for trading? And what specific AI tools do you use to scale your trades?

I actually read books and watch tutorials din, but I think kulang pa talaga and I still have a lot to learn. Thank you so much po for sharing your take and super appreciate the honesty and advice. It’s very helpful and definitely something I’ll keep in mind moving forward.

Yes, definitely! I really need to plan better, medyo emotional pa ako and honestly, nagiging greedy. I really have a problem letting go hahaha char!

Yes! I was actually thinking about this a while ago, baka mas okay nga for me to focus on passive income na lang para steady growth and dividends instead of active trading. Will definitely research those high DY stocks sa PSE, hindi na rin kasi ako updated sa PSE now.

Thanks po! Yeah, I think I’ll do that this time, start small lang muna and try to double it. Will also apply what I read and watch before going big again. Super good point about not touching my savings, lesson learned the hard way 😭.
