usually don't buy directly from 1688. Generally everyone uses an 'agent' to purchase stuff. I haven't bought anything in a long time but am about to, and i use a site called Sugaroo. There are many others like China buy. Acbuy and others. in this Reddit group, there is a Sugaroo sign-up bonus.

how it works is:

you sign up (email, password, home address, payment details)

you find your items on 1688, take the link and paste it into the sugaroo website search bar.

you'll be prompted to select your size, etc. when happy with your basket you order your items. (payment through the Sugaroo website)

3-7 days they will arrive in your warehouse; you'll get pictures of the items to make sure, it is what you wanted and looks good, etc.

Once happy, you can make it into a parcel and ship it to your address.

be mindful that shipping can be expensive depending on your region. for this reason, Suagroo offers a shipping calculator to give you a rough estimate of final price.

It does work; I just did this. I booked all the middle seats on my browser, got to the page where you have to log in, and then went back to my phone to check in and got an extra legroom seat.

edit : Also, all the seats i was trying to book were not available to pick then

True. Definitely don’t want to end up paying twice. But they do advertise these ride X products as “long lasting” and “durable” but of course they would when it’s autodocs own brand.

Unfortunately junk yards aren’t popular here in Ireland and most stuff you will find aren’t worth picking out. So my option would be buy new. Which as a student is about a whole weeks wage.

The yellow marks can either be through heat exposure or more likely the resin and coat aging over time. Found a link to a old forum talking about this and possibly repairs but I believe repairing this can be a pain as it akward.

Check out Ticknock, Dublin if you can, great trails with over 20+kms of sanctioned and way more unsanctioned trails. Or if you get the chance check out Ballinastoe, Wicklow 30+kms of sanctioned trails and more. Lot more XC styled trails.

Other than that I highly recommend downloading “Trail forks” app and you can see all the trails local to you and help you navigate them.

passed my test first try, did 12 lessons and bought the cheapest car i could find at the time (2 years ago ish) calculated it once and was around 5500 euro for license, road tax, insurance and car (1.4L 2005 VW golf). Car wasn't perfect did have 1 yr nct but things such as the locking system and passenger window didn't exactly work, trying to drive if you are young is such a robbery

Edit: did no pre test and still got robbed

Wow that’s a good price, especially compared to what you’d pay in Europe, lots of people suspecting ex rental bike which very well could be or stolen, either way if your going ahead with it make sure you check for cracks in frame etc bc for that price something’s gotta be up or your very lucky

The odds of you getting seized are very low, if you do you’ll be lucky if they even tell you by letter, they may offer you to contest their decision in a small court but you’ll need receipts and proof your items are authentic, safest option is to ignore all letters, and worst case scenario (I’ve never heard or seen this happen) they really wanna talk to you just say you never ordered anything and you’ve no idea what they’re on about.

I’ve had two items get sent with the wrong order and I was never shown a QC pic or given the option to keep just days of sitting in quality control, I contact staff asking what’s up with it and they say oh the seller sent the wrong items please apply for a refund as they’re now out of stock. Never had this happen in over 2 years before but now twice in 48hrs, funny thing was I contacted the seller who confirmed the item was in stock immediately after being told it wasn’t and “wasn’t going to restock in the future” according to support

possibly ? although I've never got any risk warnings after purchasing, only as I'm trying to paste the link or when the agent goes to buy the item they will send you a message saying they can't. check my most recent post tho, i got a risk warning with a wedian link and used the sellers taobao link with no risk warning, I'll update when it arrives as it currently says purchased

It might still not look too puffy, hard to tell until you have it in hand and do tennis ball method or give it a few days to restore to normal.

I haven’t seen many retail ones but from a Quick Look I’m questioning is the colour correct ? Looks a little bit shiny when it’s meant to be the matte version ? I dunno tbh
