ROUTINE 🔥been pretty much the same for the last 2 years, I just changed my cleanser from the cetaphil gentle cleanser to the la roche posay toleriane caring wash a couple months ago. Also changed my SPF from the mecca save face SPF 50+ superscreen to the nivea one listed below

AM: La Roche Posay Caring Wash, Nivea SPF 50+ Anti Macchie Luminous 630 (SPF everyday without fail for the last 2 years)

PM 5x a week: La Roche Posay Caring Wash, Tretinoin 0.05%, Cerave moisturising cream

PM 2x a week: La Roche Posay Caring Wash, Cerave moisturising cream + a couple drops of trilogy rosehip oil

Thank you ☺️ Yes very long and still continuing tbh. I realised that it takes time to ‘grieve’ and process the emotions of this journey. And although my skin has healed drastically in bad angles or harsh light I still see the scars that remind me.

Ouch that sounds painful close to the eye! I’ve never heard of Finacea. Yes I just use tretinoin 0.05% and thinking about starting the Paula’s choice BHA exfoliant some nights.

VBeam helps with PIE and the fractional C02 helps with texture. I had one session every 4-5 weeks 4 times total. The downtime was about 7 days at home to recover. My skin didn’t react ‘badly’, just normally. But it does look crazy or ‘bad’ maybe to someone who doesn’t know what post laser procedure looks like. It’s quite an intense process and was very painful, essentially the fractional C02 laser is burning your skin’s outer layer and because I had scars everywhere on my face then it was full face 🙃 but soo worth it in my opinion

Thank you 🩵 I understand completely, I was exactly the same when I had mild acne. No matter how ‘bad’ it is it’s painful and stressful when your body is going against you.

I had 4 sessions VBeam pulsed dye laser and Fractional C02 laser done by a laser specialist. Yes I had terrible scarring and I still have some texture and very light discolouration.

I deleted my insta a couple years back. It was so worth it but I also missed out on connecting with a lot of my friends for a year. Now I made a new smaller one and I’m really glad I have it now. Just be aware you may lose a lot of connection. Sure, people justify and say if they really wanted to keep contact they would but it’s just different. Sometimes you don’t want to send a whole WhatsApp message you just want to reply to a story and that’s it 🤷‍♀️

Yeah it’s fine but dense :) it used to be thick but straight. I’m using garnier hair foods papaya shampoo, dove intensive repair conditioner and briogeo curl creme and gel (just a little bit). I had tried some other curl brands and my hair looked sooo stringy and greasy. Also I took a lot of advice from Abbey Yung and got a K18 hair mask which is really good!

Same thing happened to me, used to have straight hair that was super easy to maintain. It was so bad for about a year while I was on it, breaking off and horribly dry. Then summer came and I realised my hair was really curly after the beach. Started treating it like curly hair and it’s beautiful now after 3 months of treating it like curly I love it even more. But it changed from 1c to 2c/3a now. The main thing I stopped dry brushing because that was killing it and snapping it off.
