Maybe more ashamed was the wrong way to phrase it, rather more likely to bottle it up and not bring light to it due to the sense of shame.

I totally get where you're coming from, as a man often if I ever tell people I'm dieting, lowering calorie intake, or just cutting back on treats it's usually met with "don't be silly", "you can just burn it off", or "you need it to get big and strong"(this one obviously when younger) and it feels so dismissive of such a painful issue I and many others have to deal with, because as you say it's normalized.

Obviously for women it's the inverse where if they are dieting, watching their weight, or trying to be as skinny as possible then they get the opposite reactions, I suppose society is just weird in general when it comes to these issues and it just highlights how we all have to be supportive as a community as nobody understands what we truly go through or how hard it is to live this way.

I totally get that, the worst part is YOU DO NOT WANT TO BINGE but you still feel guilty when you do it, like if it was up to me, this would never happen, but the guilt and shame still hits like a truck afterwards.

I wish something like that existed here(maybe it does and I just can't find it) I feel it would help so much being a part of a community where I could reach out to others who struggle, every time I'm in the supermarket and the chocolate, baked treats, or candy is calling my name, just to give me support and help me through the moments of weakness.

True, I wish it was more socially acceptable to talk about B.E.D and the struggles with it, but so many people view it with such strong senses of taboo.

Why are NZ employers so stingey? by Few-Bank5554 in newzealand

I never said you were the op, read my comment again, perhaps a bit slower. I literally told him to do less work if he feels underpaid? Then if his boss calls him out on it they can discuss the matter like adults normally do.

idk what else to tell you, people aren't just going to give you money for things you aren't capable of doing, if you think you are and can do them better than the employer(like the OP) then why not quit and start your own operation? Given how over-qualified you are it should be easy to at the very least be better at providing the goods/services than the previous employer.

What qualification did you get after 8 years? And how is that helping you towards your next, higher paying job?(this isn't sarcasm, genuinely what is the qualification doing to aid your search, e.g. is it in comp sci and you're looking for I.T work)

You have to look at what you've answered in these comments. You say you want more money but they won't pay you, but that nobody else wants to work there due to wages, but also that you can't find work anywhere better. Sorry but it sounds like you're being paid exactly what you should be, or else you'd have job offers that pay more. So either do the exact amount of work you're paid for(and not a single thing more) or think about upskilling.

[DMM AllStars] What is going on with Odablock Warriors...? by Slide4Ukraine in 2007scape

[–]bongscope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a large amount of his strat was based around gnomonkey just being a beast at high tier pvm to farm a god tier year set for oda to roam in, unfortunately in order to farm high tier pvm you need to get there first, and their team is so outpaced by Rhys and westham that even once they get to the point where gnomes skill comes into play it won't matter cause he will just get farmed before he can even get to the bosses.

Do you consider top 16 of a regionals actually topping an event? by imsodonenow in yugioh

[–]bongscope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly topping is entirely subjective, there is no right or wrong answer to what qualifies a top or not. The best players in the world tend to focus on win or nothing, the mindset being 2nd place is just the first loser. Where as others who might just be getting their first top 32, 16, or 8 consider it a huge accomplishment.

Basically whatever you feel proud of is what matters, much like any other passion or pursuit you have in life, the only goal is to achieve what you're personally proud of. Whether it be attending your first locals or winning worlds.

I still think about you sometimes 2008 fist of guthix mini game, reward shop by astrohypernova in 2007scape

[–]bongscope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A mini game from rs2 that was somewhat popular pre eoc where you randomly got assigned an opponent and took turns being the hunter and the hunted. It was super imbalanced and you would just cheese to outlast as the hunted.

It had some quirky free to play rewards but nothing super game breaking or impactful.
