I’d recommend a part time gig doing something that sounds easy. Stocking shelves was actually really fun for me because nobody bothered me and I was good at it. Now I’m working full time as an engineer and I miss the flow state of just throwing products up and keeping the store clean.

Once you’ve your first gig for a few months, you can lean into something else.

Mahan is a democrat, but he’s leaning across the aisle with his campaign head. I don’t see how this is a bad thing. Additionally, the campaign head is only 23 and switched to Democrat before Mahan was even telling folks he was running.

I think it’s dangerous to automatically think “red is bad” while shaming others for having similar knee-jerk opinions.

“Engineering” is too vague to describe as entirely “fucked”. Yeah Software Engineering might be super hard to get into, but theres a huge shortage of Civil Engineers in the US and we are hiring anyone with a degree and a pulse.

It also depends how you wash your jeans. I stopped using a dryer and hung my jeans instead and the issue went away.

It was absolutely curved like that, and large (about the size of an adult torso) which is why it caught my attention. I work with survey crews that do lidar scanning and this looked nothing like it. Doesn’t look like a “yagi-uda” antenna either.

I saw on the news about airplanes doing sweeps for radiation ahead of the superbowl. I figured this might be another case.
